At least it's good to see Europeans finally taking this tournament seriously.

Sweden did have bad calls go against them, and there were missed calls, but both sides were on the end of both. Sweden a bit more than the Finns, but that's not why Sweden lost. They lost because they were not playing well and flat out sucked in the third period. I think they only had 2 legitimate scoring chances in the third? That clearly isn't going to win you a game.
I know it was almost a decade ago, but after that "pineapple medal" crap, I can't help but feel a slight, warm sense of satisfaction every time Swedish media cries its heart out. I mean, talk trash before the game all you want, but going for the low blow after the other guy has been beaten?
Swedes were able to shut down Pulju-Aho-Laine -line but thankfully Rantanen's line stepped up. Finland improved their play through the game as they have during the whole tournament and even though Swedes got some questionable penalties, they weren't able to play better in the 3rd period which is why they lost.
Good luck to the bronze game!
It was pretty much the same as the game vs. the Czechs. Sweden got ONE horribad call, that resulted in the game winner. Had they been able to squat that off, or equalize on the make-up that followed, no one would be talking about it.I didn't see the match, but were the refs really pushing Finland? I don't want to waste time in such a long discussion, I am asking neutral fans only who saw the game.

Congrats Finland, you played a great game. Will be a great final. Unfortunately there were too many player-omissions from the start and then we lost William Nylander on top of that. I really don't like Grönborg and his teams. To exclude players like Kovacs, Kylington, Andersson and my personal favorites Olle Alsing and Jonathan Dahlén is a recipe for disaster in a single-elimination-tournament. No transition from the D and not enough firepower from the F.
Cheers you knife wielding drunks!

Had no idea that Kähkönen saved the last point shot, damn Yle with their crappy cameras
