Sweden is forever cucked, that's why they fail. It's over for them basically. Finland and Russia are both god tier. Great final.

I'm kinda hoping Jalonen will be able to lure Juolevi and Laine to Jokerit for next season. Might be better for development than AHL. Juolevi is a Jokerit junior. There's also the obvious example of Selänne...

How on earth would he do that?

I bet Juolevi will stay with his current team, he needs strenght and gets to play in NA and Laine goes to AHL trying to win a NHL spot, get used to the rink and AHL would be better for Laine than staying in Europe.

I know it would be nice to see them live but it's not best for them.

Heh, they showed Laine guaranteeing victory in an interview before the game.

Laine is funny, he was banned a whole last year from Finnish national team for being arrogant and cocky against his own mates (especially a coach). He turned it all pretty well.

Credit to the Swedish fans, there were many of them at Hartwall Arena and they were loud. I think there were like 10 Finnish individuals at the gold medal game in Malmö, so you guys are ahead in that respect.

What a game again.
Thank god i don't haven't got heart failure diagnosis if i would had that i would be already died for heart-attack.
These last two games has been thrillers. Even Alfred Hitchcock can't made that-kind thrillers.

Gold medal game against Russia is last challenge our young lions.
No matter what'll happen they are played wonderful tournament.

Jukka Jalonen has done excellent job too bad that he's going to coach Jokerit Helsinki KHL team next season.
So we won't see him behind Finland's bench in Montreal and Toronto.

Finland is still underdog and that's good being a favorite isn't best situation for Finland in this tournament which is really difficult to win.

Jalonen will be head coach of Jokerit starting next season. Its not unheard of for a player to follow a coach they felt was good for them. AHL can be a really crappy place for a player to be in. The best European organization, Jokerit, would most likely be a better place to develop at so young age. IF they are good enough to get proper roster spots.

Doubt there would've been any desire from his part to return so soon to coach the nat team after the 2011 win.

That's true.
Even i was surprised when Finnish ice-hockey association announced Jukka's return to coach Finland's junior national team in U20 level.
It was great to heard that soon.

But also i'm sure that Jukka Jalonen was best option available for this job.
There's not many potential national team coaches ( Antti Törmänen, etc) available right now.

Few of these finnish posters  You're great winners, guys.

Is Ilta Sanomats journalist Vesa Rantanen any good? I saw that he did rant against the refs too, for this game but also a bit in general (Fin - Rus in Belorussia).
