Least skilled Russian teams? If you watched the game, you would've seen that these 'unskilled' Russian players were winning a lot of the battles along the boards, intercepting pucks, creating chances, etc. Nothing 'unskilled' about this team Russia. Maybe they don't have a Bure or Ovechkin in their midst, yes, but, what's even more important for success, they play as a solid unit and every line is dangerous and hungry for goals. And that's extremely important.

Yup. They out worked the US. Looked faster and stronger, for the most part, too.

The game was a lot closer than it should have been but good to the see the much more talented team came out ahead.

Sometimes in these single game elimination tournaments the lesser team can win but Russia came through with a win.

Hard to see them beating Finland if the Finns continue to get the reffing help that they have received all tournament long but if it is a fair game then the Russians should cruise to victory.

Who says that Us was more talented team? Didn't see that

The USA certainly had the better 'big guns', but I liked Russia's talent depth better....especially at forward.
This year Russia is lacking gamebreakers, but Bragin can roll 4 solid dangerous lines. That was one of Russia's biggest strengths coming into this tourney.
