You just summed up the last 3 Czech games... we had no fourth line and our 2 best forwards were injured. For several minutes we had only 9 forwards to put on the ice
(Kupari injured, Ranta was getting medical attention and Räty was "temping" Ranta in the box)
For short period of time we had 8 forwards (one of our players had some issues with his left knee).

They are no more homerish then any other teams media that covers the games, hell, they might be less, we don't see how the other countries t'v crew goes on but I would be surprised if they made as big a deal out of the same high stick shit about their team that the tsn guys are.I agree.
I just hear that TSN is biased all the time and I just don’t see it. They definitely concern themselves with Canada’s players but as far as interpreting what is happening on the ice, I don’t see it.
The high stick want deliberate, the stick popped up when hit by the shot follow-through. That's what I saw live and the replay confirms it.My 2 cents.. both were deliberate. The shot was out of frustration and should've been penalized. The clip to the face was deliberate too. He should've got a penalty too.
Having said that... not sure what the D should've done? You can't let a late shot like that. If I did that in my beer league I'd get slashed a LOT for the dick move. If he punches him then he gets a penatly. If he skates away, the Finn gets a penalty but it looks like he didn't defend his goalie.
You don't see the after whistle shot very often!
I can't say that is the turning point though... Canada was already flying!
Canada gets their revenge. Im not so sure are they ready to lose Russia again? And if they lose can Hayton grow some nuts and get his helmet of for national anthem? I have always liked Canada but Hayton is so embrassing little prick, so i hope Russia sweeps the floor with Canada in the final
Yup, the start from Canada was great, but the main reason for the 3-0 in the first 5 was that the Finns were brutal and sluggish, not ready to battle. Maccelli’s defense on the 3rd goal was a great example of that hahaThe real question is whether that game would have happened if Canada hadn’t gone up by 3 early.
At this point you need a junior superstar like Barkov, Laine or Kakko was. Individual effort, GOALSCORING and leading the way.
Unfortunately at this point we don't have any. That's why i'm not confident at all that we're coming back.
But to all of my fellow Finns: Remember where this team is coming from, before tournament and after terrible group stage. Injuries, missing best guys. This team will fall, but still playing for medals once again.
I’m sure the coaching staff brought that up....I would be scared shitless to face Hunter if I f***ed this one up lol...Yep. Loads of time left. Didn’t Russia score four straight against us in 2015?
Stay keyed in, boys.
And you had already given up 3 goals in the first 5 minutes before any of that had happened to boot. For several minutes we had only 9 forwards to put on the ice
(Kupari injured, Ranta was getting medical attention and Räty was "temping" Ranta in the box)
For short period of time we had 8 forwards (one of our players had some issues with his left knee).

You could've left some salt for the others.
Yep!I'm liking his game, keeping sharp even though they have a big lead.
One zigged, the other zagged.Laf, great stick play but then too fancy.
So you do reverse jinxes in Russia too....good to know lol...Yep, my prediction score is perfect so far. Calling it now - Canadians gonna walk through us tomorrow. Easy dub no doubt.
Can't forgive a teenager that made a mistake...would be craziness. Gotta hold that one over his head going forward of course!Sorry no salt here. I like the way Canada plays they are way ahead at this game. Great players great team but Hayton have done the most embrassing move what you can do. So i rather hope Russians embrassing Canada in the final and see if Hayton have grow some balls.
