I think we saw the difference between a team/coach with playoff experience and a team/coach that doesn’t in the second half tonight. I think the pressure/moment got to Detroit in the second half and they didn’t respond well to San Francisco’s adjustments and they also made a couple of critical mistakes.

I’m calling it now and hoping I’m wrong: SF loses the SB, and it’s not particularly close, because all of the near INTs Purdy’s thrown the past 2 games will actually get picked off

Watching the Lions lose it in the way they did makes you think maybe there's something even worse in the world of football than being a Bills fan.
One of my college buddies went to the watch party at Ford Field. Can’t imagine how terrible the trek back to the car and out of traffic is

There are times to be aggressive and times to take the hopeful points in a FG. I think not kicking twice here now is going to bite Detroit.
Those were long fieldgoals. The points were no more guaranteed than going for it. Tough call.

What will bother me most out of this game is the "PURDY PROVES THE HATERS WRONG" narrative as he has another horrible game and gets gifted a win. Annoying.

If SF shows up in 2 weeks (As opposed to what they did in the first half)......I don't see KC winning.
I dunno. There's an astronomical imbalance at the most important position in pro sports. Even if SF is the better team at nearly every other position. The greatest QB of his generation against JAG coming off two stinkers, that's a tough thing to overcome.

I haven't verified this to be accurate however there is a chance the Lions went from 20 passes & 21 rushes in the first half to 21 passes & 8 rushes in the second half. Oozing Atlanta Falcons vibes. Maybe this game will cleanse Kyle Shanahan's soul and close the book on that blown Super Bowl. Yes, he was only OC at the time.

Weirdly enough I feel like Purdy’s struggles could help them a bit if it gets Shanahan to lean on McCaffrey and the run game more compared to how he’s gone too pass happy in past SBs

Granted, I only saw the 2nd half. But from what I saw -- he looked solid as hell. Yeah, that long ball could have been intercepted.....but that was his worst throw of the half. From what I saw....he was calm and mostly precise. Scrambled for some big yardage too

Those fourth down calls were stupid by Campbell.

I wish NC could legally let us gamble online but I have to wait til March if I don't want to pay ridiculous fees on an off-site account.

KC is going to win it all. The Niners have a better offense than Baltimore but outside of Warner, the middle of the field isn't an issue.

I'd bet on them regardless of the spread and if Vegas is giving them points, even better.

Only other thought from the game is that Detroit should not tie their franchise to Campbell. He sucks. Let Aaron Glenn have a shot.

SF has the better team. Deebo left the game healthy as far as I know and he can be a game changer. Him and CMC have super human strength over the best of the best that play this game. BUT, Mahomes > Purdy and that's a slightly big position on the field of play.

TIght one; 27-24 Niners.

Will fix everything
Fun observation of the day: the very minute the refs started calling holding on the chiefs, the ravens were able to pressure mahommes consistently

Other fun facts: the chiefs took 4 offensive holding calls vs the ravens, with the 1st one with 26 seconds left in the 1st half. They called them the next play. And two more in the 3rd quarter. And the chiefs offense stopped working. Versus the bills they only took one. Also at the end of the first half.

Essentially the chiefs hold until the refs make them stop.
