AJ Epenesa (ribs), Micah Hyde (stinger) week-to-week

Tight end Dalton Kincaid (shoulder) is day-to-day

"There's a chance" the Bills get DaQuan Jones back, per Sean McDermott. Said he's working with the training staff and making football movements. "Probably between red and yellow and moving towards green at some point here."

Hyde is concerning with the continuous neck/stinger injuries and his past with the neck problems.

Not good with the Cowboys coming to Highmark.

I really hope they don't entertain bringing him back, even on something that looks like a bargain like Poyer got. We need a complete fresh start at the safety positions. If we're going to be bad, at least be bad and young, fast, and cheap.

I think he retires. I'm not to crazy about Rapp either tbh.

I just saw the quotes and apparently Kansas City thinks you can be as offside as you want as long as you haven't been warned yet. What a joke.

Laughed at Cheffer's pointing out in the ref pool that Toney was literally blocking the linesman who threw the flag from being able to even see the ball pre-snap.
The Bills were gifted a win yesterday. Miller was way offside on the last play and it was never called.

No he wasn't. He was close to offside on the 3rd and 15 play but videos have shown online that the ball had begun to be snapped before he crossed over. Also remember the blue line is not the official line - it is often off by a bit.

There wasn't even a question on the 4th down. Miller wasn't even on the field.

Nah. The first half of the Eagles game was a team being gifted an advantage.

Let's not forget the Chiefs still had a few plays after the penalty to get into field goal range, and couldn't get it done. Not that it matters since the correct call was made.

They need at least one new safety this offseason

I wonder if there's any semblance of thought to putting Benford in at Hyde's role next year. I'm going to assume Tre White comes back and makes one last run at it and if he's solid we'd have him and Douglas with Dane Jackson and a draft pick or reclamation Elam as depth.

I mean, I'm guessing the more likely scenario is we move on from White and Benford/Douglas are our starters in 2024. But if we do keep Tre, Benford has played safety before and he's a versatile guy with some ball skills as seen by the fumbles he was forcing last night.

Maybe Elam at safety?

There was always going to be a day when this defense didn't have Hyde, Poyer and Tre. I was just hoping that day came after the Bills won a Super Bowl.

I think they need two. I’ve only liked Poyer when he’s playing LB as a third safety. Him and Hyde are both big liabilities at traditional S.

Maybe Elam at safety?
I don’t really see it. The things that make a good safety (good instincts, understanding zones) are the very things he’s a liability at.

Or maybe Tre moving to safety full time. Would mitigate his lost foot speed, while amplifying the best part of his game, his smarts.

man, Miami without Hill is not scary at all.

I’m sure hill will return next week, but this is a big problem for them if it is a high ankle sprain. That will linger.
