Na. Just draft and develop well and do your job.

Mayfield, Darnold, Rosen all taken ahead of Allen.
That's a nice anecdote, but by in large most top end players come at the top of the draft. They're not going to intentionally tank, but on a team that is so starved for some top-end talent outside of Allen and Diggs, it sure would be nice to get a shot at one plus playmaker.

Don’t think a few picks will make a major difference. Especially in the NFL and not the NHL but word tank should never be used in Buffalo sports.

KC would have had 2 timeouts after the game tying FG. And they wouldn’t have f***ing kneeled it.

This is the game that broke my support for McDermott. Good guy. Guy us far and helped rebuild the culture. But he’s a bitch.
Exactly he’s an average coach that without Allen would’ve been fired eons ago.

Great guy and rebuilt football but not the answer and it’s never been more apparent.

I mean Andy Reid got them a FG in 13 seconds when we kneeled with almost double the time. 20 seconds and a time out.

I don't think you can review that. Only other way around
It's overtime. All reviews come from the booth and you can absolutely review it with a clear recovery.

I can't believe I have to explain to you the difference between a tie game and a 3 point deficit.

Actually no, with you and Ace I'm not surprised

Beats being 6-10 with last place schedules every year.

There's no yin and yang to close wins/losses. Coaches go on long streaks on the plus side, then on the minus side. There's a reason smart analyists consider it a part of the luck of the game.

I mean Jesus a fairly officiated game and we beat the team with the best record in football by multiple scores. If our kicker could kick we win easily. None of those things are in the control of the head coach.

Abuse statistics to make your moronic tirades some more.
6-10 isn’t the only alternative you know. None of those Bills teams had QBs. Imagine wanting more and dreaming bigger like winning a trophy.

We have talent to do it at important positions. Continue to cry about officiating instead of facts/stats.

The Eagles are so clutch and know what it takes to win even if it doesn't look pretty. I wish the Sabres were like that. Even tho the reffing was suspect at times, keeping the Eagles in the game is a mistake because Hurts is captain clutch.

Both games were at a 3 point deficit to send to OT. What are you even saying?

And they won the Detroit game last year under similar circumstances, albeit in a dome. But I would’ve rather lost going down swinging in an attempt to win in regulation than how we did
The problem with that is, as you noted, it was in a dome and that pass was a split second from incomplete or half second from and interception. In these conditions, he would have needed to push the ball deeper

The defense you trusted gave up touchdowns on 3/5 drives going into halftime, a field goal on one, and just one punt. I agree they played admirably early, but trusting the defense in overtime is exactly why we lost. It was clear they were cooked.
Then you are going for it on 4th down in OT?

Ok I'm leaving for a bit. Holy overreaction. THis remains their hardest game remaining, and remains the game they could most afford to lose tiebreaker wise.

It sucks, but this season is not over. They're IN if they win out and they're probably in at 10-7, especially if the 2nd loss is to Dallas.

It's just infuriating that they made the play to win the game - a play that I've seen called a fumble over and over again in this league, and they don't even look at it.
I think many are coming around to my line of thinking (at least for the last couple of years), which is that making the playoffs doesn’t matter. We are wasting a potential HOF QB with McDermott at the helm. He crumbles under pressure and continues to make mind-numbingly dumb calls in the most critical moments.

His play calls - soft coverage in the OT - lost them the game. His decision to kneel it with 20 seconds left - winning coaches go for it.

At the very least, if you’re going to lose, go down swinging. Sean just goes into a fetal position.

It’s a helpless feeling with this coach, knowing he didn’t have it two years ago after 13 seconds, and choking game after game away with the same small mindset that we knew existed back then. It’s groundhogs day. The man just chokes in the clutch every time. I’m exhausted by him.

Then blitz at the end again

Sorry not sorry. The Bills won this game. The officiating decided once again that a small market team isn't worth a god damned thing. So, **** us.

It doesn't matter if Andy Reid is coaching this team. We're ****ed because the money isn't there.

The only positive is that, with Leslie and Dorsey already out…there is no one else to point at but the coward who does this every single time.

He won’t get fired this year. But if next year goes this way too? Hallef***ingluia
I don't get this cowardice talk, is he a perfect coach, no, does he make mistakes, yes, just like every coach.

In the same lens, Sirianni is a coward too as he made the call to kneel it before halftime down by 10.

Hochuli in the first half: No one can screw Buffalo as bad as me!

McDermott in the second half: Hold my beer.

I love how McDermott is too conservative when the chips are down two weeks after he sent and got criticized for sending an all out cover 0 blitz against Denver. It's almost like know-nothings just want to criticize no matter what the call actually is when things don't go well. I know for a fact at least one of the "too conservative" "calls" people are moaning over was a play where Johnson got stuck between a deeper route and a shorter route and had to respect over the top. Was it a play call win for Philly? Yes. But it's FAR from as simple as "wE'rE tOo SoFt"

The fact is Philadelphia has a very good offense, and they started to find their way over the entire 2nd half. They made a miracle field goal (on 4th and 17!), we missed two very makeable field goals, and it still took overtime and ANOTHER iffy (if not outright blown) call to lose in a game with unbiased refs we win by two scores.
