Yeah. Not good to be missing both him and Jones. We should beat the Pats, but if the offense sputters again- then it can go either way. BB is going to rely heavily on the run game me thinks.
Vickers is expected to be elevated from the practice squad. Sal & Joe also mentioned Groot can move inside if necessary.

Of all the possible deadline deals tossed around, one of my top hopes would be for a true 1-tech run stuffing DT. Doesn't have to be a big name or particularly costly. Just someone very good at stuffing the run. Grover Stewart is one of the top rated run stuffers in the NFL, is in the final year of his rookie deal, and just got suspended for 6 games for PEDs. Would the Colts part with him knowing their season is likely long over by the time he comes back?

Eh I hear you, but it would probably guarantee them winning 1st overall and either taking Caleb Williams and moving on from Young, or having the most valuable league trade chip in a couple years. They can find a new Thielen in the off-season, not sure 8 games without him would ruin Young.
The Bears own Carolina's 1st round pick.

In every mock draft I make, I'm taking McKinnley Jackson in the 2nd round. Pure fire hydrant NT.

Stewart would be a big get, especially if he is roiding.

Can a suspended player be traded? I don't know the NFL CBA. Maybe it is permitted by agreement among both parties (trading team i.e., Colts and player).

Almost every game the Bills have lost the past 3-4 years (outside of 13 seconds) was because they got slaughtered in the trenches. Hearing non-WR trade ideas like this really brightens my day

Crazy way too early, and the PFF board is not mature yet, but here's my run:

KC won a Super Bowl with one guy last year…. Kelce was that entire receiving group.
Juju had 7 receptions in the sueprbowl. McKinnon and Watson combined for 5 and 3 other receivers had one apiece. Kelce's 6 were about 29% of Mahomes completions. On the year he was about 25%.

So far this year, Diggs represents 49 of Allen's 147 completions, 33%. Over the last two games as the offense has sputtered, he's 18 of 46 completions, 39%.

I think that's more the point. The offense running through Diggs is fine. Dominating well over 30% of the target share isn't sustainable.

We are six games in. We’ll see where we are after 17.

Sure? I don't think anyone disagrees with that. And I'm the last one to be sounding alarm bells. The point you disagreed with is that the entire passing offense can't be about one guy. Is that really controversial? Of course the offense will be healthier if Diggs isn't the entire passing game.

The more I think about it and watch highlights, I'm chalking up a lot of the struggles to the offensive scheme changes. Allen SHOULD start to fixate on Diggs less soon, based on his comfort level in the new system. He seems capable of operating it but just isn't processing fast enough to be consistent, yet. I think that'll come. I mean, I hope.

Bill's could use more Dodson today vs run per Chris Brown.

Watch play action and TE Meyer
