A lot of passion, anger, flying insults, and hurt feeling used to argue a completely theoretical question with an unknowable answer and no actual real world implications.
Wjc, WC and olympics chose farrel over Laferriere.so you wouldn't do a straight up swap right now: Farrell (MTL) for Laferriere (PHX)?
Ok we get it now you are trollingso you wouldn't do a straight up swap right now: Farrell (MTL) for Laferriere (PHX)?
Arizona fans though. They don't have same passion for the game our fans haveeveryone talks about this guy as he is some next coming of Richer. take one look at the top two on Harvard and I take Alex Laferriere in a swap straight up. Now take a look at the coyotes board, and see if anyone even cares about Laferriere. In other words, relax on this prospect he has a long way to go to crack into an NHL lineup.

my point is, Harvard is a decent team - but these numbers are nothing great... these prospects are sooooo far down the list that they are negligible. reduced to "box score" eye test.
if Im looking at stats only - yes of course you take the bigger guy with better scoring (which Laferriere clearly is) unless NHL teams nowadays are on the lookout for 5'9" set up guys?
i never said he wasnt good - just that a 5'9" winger is hardly a player we can look forward to (not named CC). We already have our CC - no room for more.. I imagine Hugo will trade him for a D prospect when the time is right.Farrell is literally 4th in the entire NCAA in pts/game.
ahhh but this is why we come keep coming back.A lot of passion, anger, flying insults, and hurt feeling used to argue a completely theoretical question with an unknowable answer and no actual real world implications.

Laferriere is a Kings prospect. He's a good prospect too. Just doesn't have the same international exposure as Farrell who did quite well at the WC and Olympics for the U.S.everyone talks about this guy as he is some next coming of Richer. take one look at the top two on Harvard and I take Alex Laferriere in a swap straight up. what we really need is a line of Mesar, Farrel and CC. with Hutson on the point! I'll call Oleg and Saku to draw something upWjc, WC and olympics chose farrel over Laferriere.
like I said - i'd trade straight up blind.Laferriere is a Kings prospect. He's a good prospect too. Just doesn't have the same international exposure as Farrell who did quite well at the WC and Olympics for the U.S.
Ah, so thats the real problem.what we really need is a line of Mesar, Farrel and CC. with Hutson on the point! I'll call Oleg and Saku to draw something up

In other words, don;t get too attached gents... he really doesn;t fit on our roster.
ahhh but this is why we come keep coming back.
That’s why you’re not the GM. Trading your best forward prospect ‘’straigth up blind’’ while having not seen him play even a minute lol.what we really need is a line of Mesar, Farrel and CC. with Hutson on the point! I'll call Oleg and Saku to draw something up

If you look at this screenshot, that shows Farrell still out-producing this player.. you'd notice that you'd be an idiot not to trade Farrell for Lafferiere!!
I don't know who would ever call Farrell the next Richer either lol.. nobody thinks Farrell is a one dimensional sniper.
Guaranteed this guy has never seen Farrell play to know about all the other elements to his game which make him such a highly regarded prospect and why he represented and played big minutes/situations for the USA in the Olympics and World Championships.

Wrong threadI don't think that hit deserved a penalty. He made it look a lot worse than it was. He saw it coming and turned
This is disingenuous... you lre saying farrell is better in the lineup than Andy?Yeah who cares about talent, right?
Since you decided he ‘’really’’ doesn’t fit our roster.
Talent, what’s that? More Anderson please!
He's not our best forward prospect.. cmon man..That’s why you’re not the GM. Trading your best forward prospect ‘’straigth up blind’’ while having not seen him play even a minute lol.
Yeah i hear good things aboyt him... hopefully we can get an equal D prospect back in value.Farrell is pretty legit I think. He is playing with (and better than) Coronato who followed the exact same path and was a 13th overall pick (he is a year younger... but also in his 2nd year).
Just not suitable for our rebuilt? Lol how? Because we already one tiny foward in Caufield and can't have 2? He couldn't have a better learning curve, he plays the right way and dominated everywhere he went... Talk about a dinosaur mentality,This is disingenuous... you lre saying farrell is better in the lineup than Andy?
He's not our best forward prospect.. cmon man..
Great player no doubt.. just not suitable for our rebuild.

To pass the time. Why are people who clearly haven’t watched him in here commenting?
