Kakko is going to learn about the 90s grunge movement and embrace its lifestyle, growing long yellow locks with a dirty blonde beard. He will be unrecognizable.

For a team has looked like it has zero chemistry on the ice minus 1 line. The first thing that was done during the downfall was to break the most productive line. By the time they were put back together chyil got hurt and chytil has been refinding his game.

Kaako looking for a rebound year and looked to be on that progression and then the coach dissolves the lines because the vets are sad about an underperforming 4th liner getting waived.

You know what's the best job security? Results. The same applies for Kaako. No one will be shocked when this guy wins a Selke or is in the Selke voting every year while putting up 20/40 type numbers.

This organization is clueless when it comes to setting up young players for success.

I won't miss Kakko. I will miss the NYR though.
If you miss KK, you know where he is.
I never been to a NHL game, but now I have a good reason to make it to the Kraken games, their franchise location being the one closest to me.
Wish you all the best, and hope the NYR team gets back on track. Take care!

Yeah I dunno why he was always the one singled out. Team never seemed to want to give him a legit chance but oh well. They could have at least tried to use him as an addin if they're doing other trades

I wouldve traded him last year for Guentzel if that's what you're getting at. I dont think anyone would have been happy with dealing him for a rental though.
Not what I was getting at but I dont think Kakko would have gotten us Guentzel on his own.

The only way Rangers win this trade is if they flip Borgen for a 1st before the TDL. Dman do have more value around the deadline.
