Kakko is a smart player with some decent hands.

Unfortunately, he's got a muffin of a shot and skates like he's in mud, and enjoys the perimeter

I wanted him to work out here badly, but it became very clear that he's not going to live up to his draft hype. Good luck in Seattle

Oh, I totally get ya.

Kakko was my most hyped prospect since Kovalev. Watching how he played pre-draft compared to how he plays here, there's something in my brain that won't let go of the fact that he has it in him and it's waiting to burst out. I'm not sure I'll ever pry myself from that thought.

Fair enough and here's hoping he does well. I have to think the change of scenery will be a positive. He's in a solid city with a clean slate.

I dont like this at all. Have nothing against Borgen, but he`s nothing special. We essently traded Kakko for a 3rd and a 6th and a guy we could have found on the scrap heap for free. Jesus.

We all know that if KK took a shot at Campbell he'd whiff on it...
He’d take it down low and go back and forth for 15 seconds, then turn it over, play some admirable defense, then go for a change and huff and puff on the bench. And somehow develop another auto immune disease on the way over. But she’d say yes because who wouldn’t to that bashful toothless grin, in which lies the secret to the universe.

Chytil picks the restaurant, books the table, lays out flowers and drinks, even makes the awkward introductory chats with them, then excuses himself for 'an important call'. Comes back to find that despite all that hard work KK is somehow lying on the floor and Campbell has left with someone else...

Why would all coaches have something against KK who seems like anice enough guy?

Why would all coaches nit want KK to excel? That would help them excel as well.

How are the coaches trying to hurt KK while not hurting Will? They have played together for the large majority of this season and much of last season as well.

Is it possible that KK would have been the same player under most NHL coaches as he was under Quinn, Gallant, and Lavi?

Will KK show himself to be a dominant production guy in the upcoming tournament since he will be away from Lavi?
I don't know.

What I do know is if he is the same player he's been, he'll do just fine with more ice time.

Soon, posters will be saying how come he never did that here.

Fair answer but do you expect a player to show different skills in minutes 16-18 that they could not show in minutes 1-15? Will he be a faster skater? Better shooter? Better puck handler or will it just be an additional 2-3 minutes of the same skills?

Unfortunately, there is currently a lot of perimeter enjoyment being had on this team.
