How are people saying nylander isn't engaged? He came out flying then his center and linemate got a severe injury. After that we had 2-3 min lull where we sucked before a 3-4 min of neutral game with trapping being heavy.

He hasn't touched the PP for some reason.

He wasn't a problem in the 1st

Honestly run

Big 3 forwards and MO and Sandin as 1st unit.

Get simmonds/Joe/Hyman off.

We can't have a 2nd unit with Mo and Willy getting 10-20 secs of PP time

When he was falling back limp with blood pouring out his his helmet and eyes rolling back I feared for his life and felt very badly for his family. The thumbs up was definitely some relief.

Probably some other would have tried harder to go around but Perry being petty didn't think that he could kill someone . His thinking is contact looking like an accident.

Win it for Tavares.

I understand some fans turning off the t.v. Calling them quitters and egging on each other is stupid. People can leave if they felt like they don't want to watch that style of hockey. I understand. It's enough to scare anyone. It doesn't make you soft.

No revenge. Just win. That's all I want. You win with class and grace. Something Tavares has shown his whole career.

Perry may have hurt him. Accidental or not but Tavares has always been the better player and man. Even in this may have been his last game.
 
I don't care for the doom and gloom. This is not last year's team.

Leafs can do this. Reset and come out and control the pace.

JT is going to be ok. Might be out next game. But he was showing classic symptoms if being knocked out. Even if he's out for the series. He wouldn't want his team to quit.

This is where jumbo and spezza will earn there money and get the boys back into this.
 
Did you guys see some islanders fans on the mainboards, admiring Tavares getting hurt. Disgusting.

Now they KNOWS who plays with nylander and our killa foligno. They putting kerfoot there, joe there at times. Spezza killing the P so hard. We gitting this, sire. Ya'll see. Yep, Perry is a POS but I cant believe that he has a brain that can think that fast and body that can react that fast to intentionally drive his knee into JT's head.

Foligno clearly thought it was intentional though.

Perry was not going for Tavares. He was following the puck. Perry is a piece of shit but there was no intention here.
