I mean it's been pretty obvious where the whole thing has been going since the first season with how they're going to tie it into the sequels.ultimately they will ruin Mando by connecting it to the larger world and the sequel movies
You gotta give Dave Filoni credit. Dude managed to basically use Mando to connect and utilize the stuff he created in a cartoon which wasn't even really thought of as 'canon' at the time (certainly not during Clone Wars, altho I think Rebels was thought of as being 'canon') and use the success of the Mando to resurrect the entire thing in live action (more or less)I mean it's been pretty obvious where the whole thing has been going since the first season with how they're going to tie it into the sequels.
i think that is why my one friend just said he was pretty much done with Star Wars and Marvel..DisneyYou gotta give Dave Filoni credit. Now while giving him credit it's basically doing the thing I hated the most about Comics and what turned me off.
When you need to read multiple different comics in order to get the actual arc of the ones you're interested in covered. Disney is doing that with the Marvel series as well.
Hold up now, now that this season is wrapped, if nothing happens further in the series with that character, was that truly a filler episode that had zero impact on the show?Awesome Mando finale! Some of the finest Star Wars action sequences to date. Overall, a solid season minus 2 episodes (the one following the short-haired awful actress and the Lizzo one).
The Pershing episode, which I actually didn't mind and for some reason my older son loved, at least connected to the overall plot of this season. i.e. Gideon has a mole in the New Republic, is tying up loose ends, what his ultimate aims were. The Lizzo episode was a complete throwaway though. Surely Bo-Katan could have gotten her army back without going on a Scooby Doo sidequest with Mando just so that Lizzo and Jack Black (and Chris Lloyd) could make special guest appearances.Hold up now, now that this season is wrapped, if nothing happens further in the series with that character, was that truly a filler episode that had zero impact on the show?

IMO..ultimately..noDid the mole have any impact though? I don't recall if she did. Did she provide some kind of intel to Gideon that effected the plot?

Not sure of timeline of whole thing but... in theory what they had Pershing steal was used to clone Gideon.
Then wiping Pershing's brain made it so that the New Republic and others would not be able to successfully clown for themselves
Ahhh ok. That makes sense plot wise. Maybe it was me not paying attention, but I think that plot thread could have been handled better.
I also found the recent Mandolorian episode a bit weird. Most cameos I can accept as actual characters, but all I could see in this one was Jack Black and f***ing Lizzo. Although, to be fair, I could say the same about Carl Weathers. I can't even remember his characters name, he's just Carl Weathers to me. Din kicking Super Battle Droids was a bit funny, I guess? But overall it was pretty weak.
Zero impact. I actually skipped it lol (didn’t even know I did) and was still able to follow along hahaHold up now, now that this season is wrapped, if nothing happens further in the series with that character, was that truly a filler episode that had zero impact on the show?
She lures him to the scrap yard to have him collect the equipment she/Gideon needs for cloning. When he's arrested, she walks off with the equipment.

Tied everything back to the reason why Mando and Grogu became a thing in the first place, though.Still seems unnecessary, especially considering how bland that portion of the episode was. Some horrid acting by both of them. They could have just had theclones be a surprise for both Mando and the audience when they were discovered and destroyed on Mandalore. We really didn't need an episode setting up how he came to acquire the ability to create the clones.
I'm glad your theory didn't hold up, @BackToTheBrierePatch.

The Mandalorian season 3 was the worst one to date. I liked the previous seasons a lot better. The story was all over the place with too many plot threads and there wasn’t enough time given to basically all of them to truly and fully develop. It was an okay season but previous seasons were a lot better.
I’m eagerly awaiting Andor season 2. That show is my favorite live action Star Wars TV series to date.
In other news, Is anyone else pre-ordering Jedi Survivor? I usually wait a week or two to see audience and critics reviews before deciding to buy a game.
