I also found the recent Mandolorian episode a bit weird. Most cameos I can accept as actual characters, but all I could see in this one was Jack Black and f***ing Lizzo. Although, to be fair, I could say the same about Carl Weathers. I can't even remember his characters name, he's just Carl Weathers to me. Din kicking Super Battle Droids was a bit funny, I guess? But overall it was pretty weak.

I think Carl weathers falls into the unfortunate category of either being Apollo Creed, Dylan, or Carl Weathers.
Lizzie and Jack might have blended in better with a less prominent roll and more muted colors.
But Carl weathers character is grand magistrate something.

Bearded guy and the other lightsaber user are apparently new characters. There's some theories that he may be a Jedi who survived the purge, but joined the dark side and is now a Sith so the younger girl is his apprentice.

I actually like Rey and i'm cool with this. A little skeptical on the director considering she has very little live action directing experience. All I see are 2 episodes of Ms. Marvel. I'll have to give them a re-watch.
