I think Carl weathers falls into the unfortunate category of either being Apollo Creed, Dylan, or Carl Weathers.
Lizzie and Jack might have blended in better with a less prominent roll and more muted colors.
But Carl weathers character is grand magistrate something.

How can you forget Chubbs?

I just am losing interest in the mandalorian. Nothing amazing really. I want Star Wars to go into the andor direction. More dark and less family style Star Wars that mandalorian has been. Andor was great and really showed how ruthless empire can be. Very Orwellian and I loved it, plus the acting was phenomenal

Excited for Ashoka and thrawn. Would also love a cal kestis movie.

Speaking of…this last trailer just makes me so hyped. Can’t wait

i am still enjoying it..but that enjoyment isn't as great as it once was...their mistake was connecting it to established characters

They butchered Fantastic Beasts so badly, trying something new, they're just going for the "print money" approach with a tried and true property. Disney makes billions off live action re-makes of movies that came out 6 years ago, so f*** it, right?

Apologies to Cap, but it's hard to separate the movies from the books. They came out alongside each other, the actors were iconic in their roles. I'm not saying it's not even better suited for television, but I've read the books and seen the movies so many times, I'm not dying for a re-make and so soon yet.

Everyone is milking shit. The space is severely lacking creativity and the courage to try and create a new IP. So all fans are going to get are rehashes, remakes and most likely butchering of established IPs. Some of these will be done better than others.

I'm intrigued since I've always slighted the movies after Azkaban because of what they had to cut out/couldn't adapt.

Yea. I mean it's always been talks about remakes/sequels... but the past decade and the present/future it's just massively gone that direction. I think Warner's upcoming slate is something like 80% to 90% of all projects either being remakes of previously made movies/franchises, sequels, or adaptions of books/comics/etc...

Actual original ideas/scripts are extremely rare at this point in their development plan.

I agree. It was iconic and the actors fit those roles so well so it will be hard to not compare them. Gunna be interesting to see for sure if they can match that. The one thing they got going for them is they can add a lot of details from the books

So they're recasting Pooper and sending him back to Hogwarts? I can't tell if that's worse than a dressed up procedural crime drama following a grown up Potter as an auror. I wish people with money had creativity

Imagine if they had gotten together with Dick Wolf and did a Law & Order: Ministry of Magic haha

Reminds me of when SNL did Game of Thrones spin-off ideas

I'd watch Daniel Radcliffe investigate particularly heinous crimes against muggles

It's not, though. It's extremely easy. The hard thing is if you were a kid when they came out, but I wasn't.
