Outside of a couple odd goals, Kane has been horrendous in these playoffs. Hand grenade passes, poor defensive positioning and outside of the Vancouver series, a total non-factor physically.

The guy is cooked. Obvious trade candidate in the offseason.
Depends on how hurt he is, but that kind of player at that age trending in that direction should probably be moved at the earliest opportunity.

I think his NMC doesn't turn into a M-NTC until the deadline, though?

Think Nurse will respond with a Good game, Ceci has played like 5-6 whole season, his game translates bad in tight playoff games. Rather seen kulak with Nurse, but isnt Nice to hang a questionable Desharnais on rookie Broberg either.

Props to Broberg, has looked really good in the playoffs, few mistakes, play it simple, and can skate out of trouble, he even starts offensive from behind, thinks home first, thats good, Ekholm Bouch follow up their adventures more, but they are elite with great confidence .

Broberg will be fun to follow next season in a full one!

Just win tonight!

I'm not sure why they don't have Kulak with Nurse, and Broberg-VD as bottom pair. That's eventually the future next year is them as a pairing, and they played a ton together in Bakersfield.

Perhaps too much for basically rookies to be together in the SCF, but they would have limited minutes anyway.

TBH Kane being out is a pretty decent addition by subtraction. That dude's been killing plays like nobody else (since his injury).

We might see Ceci out and Vinny in; we'll see when the team comes out for practice in a few minutes.

Edit:

Finally took the worst D player out, better late than never. GJ Knoblauch.
I really feel that eventually Broberg will be eased up into the top four through the game.
Let's get the W tonight for a 1-1 split and then come home to the loudest and best fans in the NHL for Game 3 and 4.

SHOOT HIGH ON BOBROVSKY.

Wow he actually did it.
Ceci's and Broberg's play finally forced his hand. Though this makes me wonder if Stetcher didn't go done, might we have seen him sooner in these playoffs, though we'll never really know I guess.

Good first step. Desharnais has his limitations, but he's much better at defending the forecheck and rush than Ceci (better at defending period)

Even if Knob scratches Ceci, Nurse has been just as bad lol Guy needs to remember hes a dman first and hes not as talented as he thinks he is with the puck.

Also, 37-71-90...fml
Yup, this 3rd line is just gross

The way he's looked he is definitely an addition by subtraction, but you never know with Kane.

Suddenly he'll get a hatty or something, so you better be sure whoever draws in is a significant enough plus.

I'd be surprised if Perry plays again, he was completely invisible. I'd put in Gagner over Perry at this point, fresh legs and fueled by so much emotion
Can people shut up over gagner already. We're were dominated last game in the physical aspect. Carrick needs to draw in. And Vinny better be coming in to play heavy or he will be completely useless as well
