11 days ago he was making history. Today he has a .889 in the series. Unreal choke job
He has been pulled once and has a sub-.900 save percentage. Closer to the real playoff Bob. You don't get all of a sudden get great at 35...

Champions or chokers? Which will be for Florida tonight?

Franchise altering night for them. They better come out full guns blazing right out of the gate.

Depends if Florida even shows up tonight. Do they really want to be embarrassed in front of their home crowd?

To be honest Oilers have gotten some puck luck

1. Human’s first goal Bouchard shot it wide but it hit human’s outer leg and went in

2. Another wide shot that hit Barkov and went in

3. That offside goal called off

4. Two shorties to start two consecutive games

5 etc….

Question now is whether Oilers puck luck continues or it stops and Panthers get a bit of puck luck

TBD ofcourse

There is going to be a lot of Oilers fans in the house tonight. Commercial flights have been booked solid and the Villeneuve airport just outside of Edmonton is usually a secondary option for chartered flights out of Edmonton and it’s just packed with pj’s going back and forth since Saturday.

Hopefully the thousands in attendance are going to be loud for the Oilers.

Of course the Oilers have had puck luck this series. Same for Florida too.

But that offside call in game 6 was complete BS. When Barkov scored that, it silenced the entire arena. The Oilers avoided another game where Florida got life and had the chance to tie it.

Does HfBoards delete the Stanley Cup playoff subboard post-playoff? How soon after the cup is risen mid-ice if so?

Game 4 of a 7 game series is the hardest one to win. Edmonton will experince this tonight. For Florida to win there top 5 must put points on the score board. Edmonton needs to keep playing at their high level mistake free. Which team will bring it

The Oilers probably want to be ahead very early on and have a great start, the longer it takes the worse it'll be for them.

They were great when outscoring the Panthers in the first 1 1/2 - 2 periods. If Florida manages to stay close, hold a tie or even have a lead going into the third, Oilers will have a hard time.
Bobrovsky will have to shut the door early.

This being said, let's go Oilers!

Feels like 33 degrees Celsius (91 F) in Fort Lauderdale. I'm not there, but in just saying because bad ice favors the Oilers imo. Scoring off the rush will be easier than cycle plays

This is an absolute embarrassment as far as how many Oiler fans there are at the arena. Shame on every Panthers fan that sold a ticket to one of them. :shakehead: And people wonder why South Florida is a laughingstock as far as sports fans go. This looks as bad as that Week 18 Bills at Dolphins game did last January.

I’ll be at the Dolphins game on Sept 30th, so that’s +1 fan from the north, supporting the Fins.
