Team is in the SCF because of Hank's performance in Pitt and MTL. Team went to OT in game 1 because of Hank. Team would've won Game 2 if Dan O'Halloran didn't literally steal a W from us.

Hank's stats are bad tonight because of a puck bouncing directly to Mike Richard's who can lift the puck on a 2 on 1. We have a 2 on 1 and shoot it into Quick's pads.

You're wrong, dude. You're better than most of the other people, who i can't point out, who are on the cry about Hank bandwagon, but you're wrong.

I'm not wrong, I didn't say he should have saved that goal, but the other two he could have, despite bounces. People like to pretend that any deflection is an automatic goal, if that were the case no game would end with a score smaller than 5-4. 3 goals on 13 shots is not going to cut it. They weren't a bunch of cross ice tic tack toe type goals either.

I love how people trash Lundqvist for not coming up big, when he was our most consistent player through the first three rounds.

McDonagh was terrible in his first ten games. Richards has been brutal the last fifteen. Nash has been unproductive the entire post season. St. Louis is extremely inconsistent. Staal has looked pitiful the last two rounds. Girard is playing some of the worst hockey of his career this round.

Lundqvist is literally the biggest reason we even got to the dance, and is getting trashed, when every other KEY player has had multiple bad rounds for us.

I love how you think that's relevant to how he hasn't come up big in the SCF.

It's not a "dated reference", but I'm sorry if you don't like a different opinion. 3 goals on 13 shots. He wasn't terrible, but when you see the other goalie play very well, 3 goals on 13 shots is not going to get it done. The rest of the team has sucked too.

It's not the quantity of the shots that matters, it's the quality of them. Quick has been good, but his D has also bailed him out a couple of times and the Rangers can't finish. When was the last time the Rangers put a deflection on net the quality of the first two Kings' goals?

The refs aren't calling any if the interference LA is using to neutralize our speed.

On top of that, we can't finish and LA is getting unbelievable puck luck.

I personally am not trashing him. I just want him to be better than this. I want him to make those improbable saves that leads to him hoisting the Stanley Cup, and he's not making them. Been unlucky but damn, a couple of them at least.

No offense to Quick, but on any other team he is knocked out in the first round. Having a team score four goals for you every game is a big deal. I get that he makes timely saves, but those stats on any team that isn't a juggernaut would not suffice.

Their net presence has been great, by far the best of any team we've played against in the playoffs. They are constantly screening Hank, sometimes with two players in his line of sight. The Rangers have not been nearly as tenacious in front of Quick.

Kreider couldn't handle a puck if it was taped to his stick, that is his biggest down fall. So many times he will mishandle, miss a pass, or lose the puck in his skates/traffic without being able to get it back. I can forgive that considering this is his first full season and he's just now learning the game at the NHL level, but it's something he really needs to focus on this offseason.
