Quick proving he's the best in the world by winning the best trophy in the world.. not a gold medal or a SEL championship but a Stanley cup for the second time in what three years

...with a much, MUCH better team in front of him.

Beginning of the season: LA will be in the Final. <-- not a very risky prediction
Beginning of the season: NY will be in the Final <-- :joker:

That's the difference.

And Kreider has to go for it. To be honest, I am not seeing a complete go for it effort from Kreider.
Yeah, he needs to bring it a lot more than he has.
It IS desperation time, so bring some desperation.

Kinda hard to go hard wen u don't c the ice... Between the Pejorative Slured penalties we've taken and Richards and Mcdonagh playing catch at the point on the pp before shooting wide or into quicks chest kreider hasn't had the chance to be around the puck

Don't even bother arguing, dude. These are the same people who if we win Game 2 if O'Halloran has eyeballs are congratulating Hank on having a good game.

Some of the posters on this forum....

It's ok to be frustrated, but the Rangers didn't lay an egg in any of the games.

Outside of the 3rd pd of Game 1, the Rangers have outplayed the Kings 5-on-5. Both teams hace been sloppy all series with giveaways.

The Stepan and Girardi turnovers in game 1 and the Mcdonagh turnover in Game 2, with timely saves by Quick, are the only reasons why it was 0-2 instead of 2-0.

Go down fighting. That's all I ask, and the effort has been great all series.

**** that. I never give up and that is the type of **** attitude that LOSERS have.

You think L.A would be here with that same attitude down 3-0 in their series vs San Jose? No way.

That is why they are here right now.

One game at a time. That is the only way you look at it.

I never gave up when they were down 3-1 against Pittsburgh, and I won't ever give up on them if they go down 3-0.

That is the difference between being a die-hard, and a fair-weather.

Do you play for the NY Rangers? I love fans who say "we" when they dont play for said team, lol

you control nothing in terms of the outcome of the game. dont crap on people who see this team for what they are.

Theres a difference between optimism and reality

Dating myself with this reference but...broken record...

It's not a "dated reference", but I'm sorry if you don't like a different opinion. 3 goals on 13 shots. He wasn't terrible, but when you see the other goalie play very well, 3 goals on 13 shots is not going to get it done. The rest of the team has sucked too.

The problem is special teams.. They suck on the powerplay and Vigneault does nothing to adjust.

Can't believe Hank's performance.

Thought he's play out of his mind with a chance to win it all.

Guess not.

Not like he's been awful...but he hasn't been good enough. Period.

So which of the three goals tonight do you think he should have stopped?

I agree, but I refuse to put this game on him. The Rangers have had their chances. No finish, no puck luck, some pure idiocy of the coaching staff, and mr. de facto captain trying to play hero instead of actually helping the team, makes it tough for me to put a lot of the fault on Hank.

It's time to start preparing mentally for the sweep.

I may buy a bargain basement ticket for Wednesday, just to see the cup in person.

Tried that in 2012. Was $76 bucks but no luck. Good luck getting one for $76.

Likely going to be a sweep. Very frustrating. We had some bad luck. But applaud the Kings. They're a team of the ages. They score like it's the 1980's, they have one of the best defense men inthe world, and a top notch goaltender.

No, they're not.

The are the LUCKIEST team of the ages.

I guess we will see. My own opinion is that Kreider has receded into the background this game.

Most people don't want to hear it because YOU'RE WRONG.

Team is in the SCF because of Hank's performance in Pitt and MTL. Team went to OT in game 1 because of Hank. Team would've won Game 2 if Dan O'Halloran didn't literally steal a W from us.

Hank's stats are bad tonight because of a puck bouncing directly to Mike Richard's who can lift the puck on a 2 on 1. We have a 2 on 1 and shoot it into Quick's pads.

You're wrong, dude. You're better than most of the other people, who i can't point out, who are on the cry about Hank bandwagon, but you're wrong.

Yeah all those things happened.

The goals he gave up were tough.

But he's not getting it done.

Maybe he can build on the experience or will us back in the series somehow, but I don't care about bounces in the end, he needs to make the saves. Do you see Quick's saves on the other end? He's made some improbable saves.

I love how people trash Lundqvist for not coming up big, when he was our most consistent player through the first three rounds.

McDonagh was terrible in his first ten games. Richards has been brutal the last fifteen. Nash has been unproductive the entire post season. St. Louis is extremely inconsistent. Staal has looked pitiful the last two rounds. Girard is playing some of the worst hockey of his career this round.

Lundqvist is literally the biggest reason we even got to the dance, and is getting trashed, when every other KEY player has had multiple bad rounds for us.
