That dive of Henrik's was the point where I stopped caring that one of the goals came off a bad call.

Bury them. That is all.

My seats for this game were on the right side of Section 318, and Section 317 was mostly devoted to media.

On the game tying goal, I looked over at EJ Radek and Steve Mears (NHL Live), and they were both smiling. I pointed to them and yelled "hell yeah!" I think they were ready to call security.

Anyway, when we buried the game winner, I looked over there again. EJ Radek was nowhere to be seen, but Steve Mears was frowning and kept frowning.

Not sure what to make of the conflicting reactions.

Just my observation. Personally, don't give a **** what media wants who to win. But this if for you to chew on.

Saw the winning tip in by the cap and let out a yell that my friends didn't know I had, stuck playing poker which (no offense) I absolutely detest. But I'm glad the Kings retained kept home.

The media wants every game going to OT and every series going to game 7. That's it. They don't care about the teams. They want the story lines, and I'm sure they'd have preferred a 1-1 story line heading back to NY given how heavily favored LA was/is to win.

I expect tonight's game to break a ratings record, FWIW. Even though the series is lopsided now, the games have been exciting and close.

Ok this is

as hell.

Nash's game has fallen off a cliff since his days in Columbus. Not sure why, but I hope it continues at least 2 more games.

Oh how I love me some Brad Richards. He needs to get his name on our cup(s) just for not signing here...talk about a terrible contract....:naughty:

Quick has been good. He really can only be faulted for 1 goal this series on his foray behind the net. We were due for one of those and thankfully, it didn't cost the team a win.

ya not really Quick's fault this time around, our players have been atrocious with their giveaways

Only thing to fault him there was actually leaving the net. The puck jumped over his stick. But the ice was horrible. Guess the fact that it hasn't been having to be covered and uncovered everyday makes Staples Center ice worse. Who would have known?
