I am also surprised at how many goals we have gotten by the greatest goalie of all time and ever will be in Hank the Tank Lindy.

I mean the guy is the best in the league this year but I had completely bought into the notion that we would be lucky to sneak a goal or two by him per game. This series so far has been completely the opposite of what I thought it would be.

8 goals in two games. Not very King like, more like Penguin like.

Interesting... Helps me wrap my head around this Twilight Zone were in right now...

Goal differential in the playoffs:

Rangers are +14 in the first period, -4 in the 2nd, -2 in the 3rd.
Kings are -1 in the first, +1 in the 2nd, +13 in the 3rd.

As I was passing by the NHL Network platform, I was yelling "hey Marty! Marty! Marty!" But he ignored me. I knew he heard me, though.

This is pretty much all I heard from him tonight:

Blah blah blah blah Rangers blah blah blah blah blah blah Lundqvist blah blah blah blah blah Goalie Interference blah blah blah blah blah blah Rangers blah blah blah blah blah Lundqvist blah blah blah blah blah Goalie Interference............oh yeah the Kings won.

Just saw a super slow mo on the GWG. That was a world class tip by Brown. Wow.

Ahh Bob Miller and Jim Fox on the Kings Live Postgame (DVR). All is right with the world.

Here's the Henrik Lundqvist "Queen-O-Meter". Made a few years ago by a Devils fan.

According to this, you are "Very Happy" tonight

Just shows we wear teams down with heavy play.

Mike Johnson isn't letting Marty with his **** off the hook. Good for you Mike.

So much whining going on... man I used to see guys like Tomas Holmstrom, Glenn Anderson, Ryan Smyth, etc. get a lot with a lot more contact in front of the net. Anyway, this awesome game should not be overlooked by that 3rd goal.

This team causes a lot of stress and heartache but man are they persistent. They do not know how to give up. They played better as the game went on and it seems like falling behind did not deter them from their gameplan, and they continued to execute.

And once again, Quick recovers from what looked like a goal that would normally fester in any other goalies mind and came up with some huge saves to keep his team in it. I wonder if he's starting to open some eyes as to why he's considered such a money goalie.

Can't believe the Kings have scored 8 goals in 2 games against God and the best defensive team in the league.

The thing about Quick's game, he gave up 4 goals...sure he'd want some of those back, but I don't see any of them as having been his fault. He's played better in the first two games of this series than he did against Chicago despite what the statistics would say.

I'm glad he's keeping his composure during this thing. He isn't having a great statistical playoffs but has made a LOT of huge stops during it.
