I am also surprised at how many goals we have gotten by the greatest goalie of all time and ever will be in Hank the Tank Lindy.

I mean the guy is the best in the league this year but I had completely bought into the notion that we would be lucky to sneak a goal or two by him per game. This series so far has been completely the opposite of what I thought it would be.

I am actually a bit shocked by Rag fans who all seem to think that we were gifted this game and that King should have been called for goalie interference. Did they miss all of the calls that they got tonight that were questionable including Hanks dive job? How about last game when Brassinderella spun fairycircles in his best Willam DaFoe platoon pose? I mean it is unbelievable or would be if it were anyone other than Rags fans saying this stuff.

I get being bent at losing but saying that the Kings were gifted the game is crap.

You know what? They can cry me a river. Scoreboard, baby. The Ranger fans at Staples sure were quiet as church mouses at the end of the game. **** 'em. **** 'em all.

Tony, as someone said in the GDT, you are golden here but I remember seeing this post and I had to call you on it. All in good nature. I couldn't comment later in the game because I had a low bat on my iPhone.

Lundqvist is really obviously beatable. We got 8 goals on him in two games.

Hey... I said doubtful, not impossible! ;) Ill take my lumps. Seriously though... I just can't believe what's happening, but I love it!

YEAH BUDDY!!!!

Kudos on keeping your irish down too.

WHAT A BUNCH OF WHINERS!

Most NY fans feel that LA fans are complete non-hockey knowledgeable idiots.

Understand their pain but the game came down to more than that play.

Something to clutch to I guess.

Both teams have been mediocre at home during the playoffs but at least the Kings were pretty good during the regular season, while the Rangers were just above .500. I feel good about our boys getting one in NYC.

and Nash flailing when Williams barely bumped him and got interference, Nash should have got unsportsmanlike conduct. It was pathetic!

**** 'em. **** 'em all. Now I know why RP hates them so much. I totally understand now.

I'm keeping track, by the way. 222:28 without a lead. That's how long it's been since losing the lead in game 6 of round 3.

222:28 = 3 hours, 42 minutes, and 28 seconds of game time.

Looking forward to seeing what kind of ratings tonight's game pulled in the LA market.

Love that this team doesn't quit and glad we got the W. But I honestly think this is the most dangerous time for the Kings in this series. We've gotten so damn lucky that we've been able to come back and in win 3 straight games after falling behind 2-0 and then winning it in OT. SO DAMN LUCKY. The Rangers for the most part have played better at the start but have choked it away each time. Now they will either pull a sharkie and belly up or they will keep their leads. Kings need to pop their collective heads of out there ass and play a better game. If any team nows that a long shot can pull it off its this Kings team. No lead is comfortable, oh your an 8th seed? possible to win, oh your down 3-0 in a series, possible to win, you've lost momentum in the series, possible to win. I'm so happy this team as the fortitude to win, but for **** sakes play up to your potential from the start, playing catch up is dangerous.

The third goal may be controversial and all, but the Rangers still had the lead. Good teams can overcome bad calls. Instead they were diving all over the place and couldn't close it out despite the powerplays leading to the end.

well time to bring in Regehr and bench Greene 3 giveaways on 16mins of icetime is just not good enough

and Regehr can play more minutes and balance things out a bit between Muzzin and Mitchell

LA's better on the road than at home for some reason

hoping for a split in NY and closing it out in front of the fans would be sweet

Oh man the New Jersey forum Around the League thread is grade A gold. Fun read. They sure do hate Hank. LOL

We feel you, believe me.

I love the Devils board, always a bunch of fun/smart fans. The fact that they hate the Rangers so much makes that thread so great right now

At least you understand now what we've been though and known for years.

Remember the first rule of hockey Kings fans: The New York Rangers ****ing suck.

They have to talk about Lundqvist's stellar .833 SV% in game 2.

no matter how bad Quick has been

there's definitely something wrong with Niemi, Hiller, Crawford, and Lundqvist...

they've been brutal !

i wonder what these 4 goalies have in common... :sarcasm:

Yup, this can all start to crumble down like a house of cards if they don't get their act together. What they've accomplished is incredible but coming back from being down game after game is not sustainable in the long term. Be ready to play from the opening faceoff, grab the lead and don't give the Rangers an inch.
