Someone just posted this on facebook. Apparently being sold at Target. I'm sure Brad Doty and Anze Kopidor would approve. :shakehead :help:

Gotta get me one of those. How awesome is that!

The Kings are gonna smoke the Rangers game two. They remind of The Blues except with better speed.

They have all the speed in the world, but no finishers. If any of the Hawks got those chances they got today, they would have lit Quick up. They have blues syndrome.

Solid defense
Offense lacking skill.

Kings need to respect the speed of the Rangers better and prepare for it, which they will, and the Kings will capitalize on their chances because we have the skills too. I don't think the Rangers have a chance once we adjust to their speed. For God's sake, their first goal was on a break away, and their second goal was by Voynov. When we adjust to their speed, we will win with our superior offense scoring.

Quick was very solid today, can't blame him on either goal, but it just shows how much they lack top end skill compared to our previous series. If Kane got any of their good chances he would have scored like two goals.

Good team, no finishers.

Great post... I think they're more like the coyotes but definitely agree with your observations. I don't think Lundqvist is as mental as Mike Smith but I hope we get to find out.

And seriously, I hate Pierre Maguire no matter what game he is calling but I'm sick of hearing about what tier 2 team some guy played for. I loved his astute observation that doughty is usually so calm and was acting emotional for once. Anyone that watches the Kings knows Drew is about the most emotional player the Kings have. Just stop talking for a second and think about what you're saying. Just because your a hockey pedo that memorized where every kid ever played doesn't mean you know everything about every player. It's simply impossible. I wonder if he'll go all Sandusky in the Pens locker room if he becomes the GM there. Can you imagine that guy as your boss?

Pretty sure he thinks that the more obscure **** he rattles off about more players, the more he thinks a team will give him a GM job...

What the hell was the bit about him saying the Rangers said to the Kings bench something about the Bruins. He sounded like a jackass. Like a main board poster.

Well if we've beaten the eastern and western conferences, we are done here, right?

First team to beat a conference we don't play in. Breaking all sorts of records.

Can't wait for Game 2. I love how this team has been battling back all Playoffs long. I remember a time not too long ago when trailing by 2 goals = death. Not anymore and that has to be scary for our opponents. Hearing Chicago talk about trying to get a three goal lead just shows how hard we are to play against. You can never feel safe, never feel comfortable.

I also love that we keep proving all our haters wrong. Seeing our rivals trip over themselves to try to find ways to excuse our victories just proves how great this team is. It is nice to have the Devils and Islanders fans at our back. I get why they're there, but it's still cool.

We gotta win the opening face-off!

in the last 5 games the kings have played.. the team that won the opening face off has won the game!
(yes i looked up this stat all by myself)

Good game, Rangers fans.

I don't know. After the San Jose, Anaheim, and Chicago series, this feels weird. It wasn't a blowout for either side. We squeaked out an overtime win. The Rangers are Eastern Conference champions for a reason. No wait, according to Target, the Kings are. Does that make the Rangers Northern Conference champions? Hmmm. Fun stuff. Fun game.

Bruins board has been pretty Kings-friendly too. Also some Detroit fans. Really nice, because in past rounds it seemed that most fans of other teams preferred our opponents, which was a bit of a bummer.

I'm cool with happiness over our wins, but I just hope our joy doesn't veer off into appearing insufferable.

No doubt the Kings will make adjustments for the Rangers trying to go on breakaways. With the Rangers power play at a whopping 13% it might be better if the D is going to get beat to just hack the Rangers skates out from under them. Got to do it soon enough so they don't get a penalty shot. Would be amusing to watch the Rangers face plant all night and get discouraged on the Power Play.

The last couple years have shown that winning is always going to appear insufferable. There's always going to be a dirty Brown, a whining Doughty, a boring style or whatever else for elements of other fanbases to zero in on. You don't have to rub it in anybody's face, but enjoy it to your heart's content. That's the whole point, no?

Something about the rangers chirping on the ice saying this is how we do it in the east or something.

BTW, it is so awesome listening to morning drive NY radio right now. They all know the Ranger's blew their chance by not taking advantage of the King's sloppy start and realize that the Kings are the much better team once they made their adjustments. The bandwagoner's are eyeing the safest spot to jump off.

Love IT!

I'm not expecting a sweep but I do think LA is the better team.

Series isn't over till it's over. Lots can still happen.

Kings better bring their A game Saturday.

As long as the Kings keep things simple in the O-Zone, it shouldn't be that hard to win, the Rangers score most of their goals on breakaways, we have to limit those chances, I know that our Ds like to pinch and join the rush, but sometimes we have to play it safe.

One of my friends pointed out that the Kings played to win instead of playing not to lose.

You could tell that the Rags were afraid of making mistakes in the 3rd.

Worst first period we've had all post-season long and still we came back to win.

The Rangers just don't have it. Outside of all the Hagelin breakaways (and the Pouliot one), I didn't see much from the Rangers. Someone earlier compared them to Phoenix. Well, at least Phoenix had a fore-check. I didn't see anything from NYR tonight in that department.

Nash was awful. And St. Louis was as invisible as Kopi. I just don't think the Rangers have enough...outside of Lundqvist, who had another great evening, I just don't see it.

Someone educate me on the Rangers, please. I was really interested to see how well they played tonight, in different situations, on the PP, on the PK, and 4 on 4. Got to see all of it. I'm not impressed, other than I think their PK is really good (and I am not talking about the short-handed goal or the additional chances they had).

The Rangers have underwhelming forwards that you would classify as their high paid, go-to-guys. That problem really didn't sink them for the first three rounds because their collective team effort could overcome this weakness.
