Your last chance to be right. Good luck!Florida in 5. Oilers come crashing back to earth
This is the full comment from the post which I originally replied to.This is what you originally replied to on this topic - "The legend of Bobrovsky this year is also overblown. He's been very solid, but people are acting like he's been a stand out".
I guess you read outplayed where he said overblown?
Dallas beat way better teams than Florida didIn which way would Dallas be better than Florida? Can't think of any. Heiskanen is the only standout but Forsling has been getting Conn Smythe level recognition these playoffs so all in all that's a really strange consideration.
Well that's highly debatable and doesn't mean anything even if it was true. Are you implying that Florida wouldn't have beat them as well? Dallas had too many too old guys and were not healthy at all, it's obvious the earlier rounds took a big toll on them and watching the series against Edmonton they were totally out of gas. Dallas had to play Heiskanen over 27min/game because they had no D left.Dallas beat way better teams than Florida did
And I still believe if the oilers had drawn the Knights the oilers would have lostYour last chance to be right. Good luck!
First you chose the Kings. Then you chose your Canucks. Then you said Stars in 4. Oops.
Please name all the 'x' players who were supposed to shut down 97 for DAL, VAN, and LA, then let's compare them to barkov and forsling
Dude, you’re coming back to this again?Dallas beat way better teams than Florida did
yikes! I don’t see that, at all.Ekblad.
Florida is alot tougher than Dallas. And they are a relentless forechecking team. When the opposition gets the puck, they are on them immediately. Imo, that is not a good thing when guys like Nurse & Ceci are on D.This is exactly what they said about Dallas. We'll see on Saturday.
Not only that. There's no reason what so ever to have a full week off before the finals.
Fanatics showing us why they get paid the big bucks
Aside from the basic, lazy, ugly design... Who would wear this!Brilliantly creative, this is.
maybe they'll be lucky to win a game this series...unlike against DallasFlorida is alot tougher than Dallas. And they are a relentless forechecking team. When the opposition gets the puck, they are on them immediately. Imo, that is not a good thing when guys like Nurse & Ceci are on D.
Florida is better than Dallas was at every facet of the game? Dallas was considered to be deeper than Florida all year long, it's just that in the conference finals they ran into a top 5 player of all time while Florida lucked out with a team led by stars who haven't been able to crack a ppg their entire postseason careers. Eetu-Lundell-3goalsenko > Benn-Johnston-Stankoven? Not even close. Heiskanen > Forsling too btw, and it's not as close as one might wish it was.Well that's highly debatable and doesn't mean anything even if it was true. Which part of that was wrong, my friend?Dude, you’re coming back to this again?
You’re just trying to f*** around with that poster you replied to, right?
yikes! I don’t see that, at all.
I would definitely pick Florida's third line over that Dallas line if I'm building a team that's supposed to do well in the playoffs, you saying that it's not even close doesn't really make it any more convincing but quite the opposite. Maybe you considered Dallas to be deeper than Florida but I certainly among many others didn't, not this year or the year before.Florida is better than Dallas was at every facet of the game? 32/32 GMs would take Dallas' third line over Florida's. Maybe you and a few others considered Florida to be deeper than Dallas but the number of goals that were coming from the lower half of their roster all year long doesn't leave much room for interpretation.I would definitely pick Florida's third line over that Dallas line if I'm building a team that's supposed to do well in the playoffs, you saying that it's not even close doesn't really make it any more convincing but quite the opposite. And yes like I said Heiskanen is the only standout on the Dallas roster but them having to play him for over 6min more ice time than the next D-man just tells you everything you need to understand about the depth of the Stars.
Hey , why is the game on saturday a week after? Nobody in the world except Nhl fans will even know this is starting on the weekend lol. Let's get things going faster next time
Heh, I wouldn't be surprised to hear next that you are one of the GMs.32/32 GMs would take Dallas' third line over Florida's. The gap between the forward depth of Dallas and Florida is much larger than the gap on D. Stars were deeper.
