Perfect time for Maurice to adjust his teams play while Oilers coaching staff will be too focus on solving Bob now.

Rusty game for Florida but they still didn’t look terrible. A lot of low grade shots on Bob

Bobrovsky was extremely good, and a teeny bit lucky. It was a great game 1 though, incredible pace to it.

Have to think that Florida steps up their game and doesn't get so badly outshot and outchanced next game, but also that a bounce or two is going to go Edmonton's way and they put some pucks behind Bob.

Does Florida normally give up this many odd man rushes? Three breakaways for the Oilers in the first half of the game was very concerning.
Panther fans mentioned this a few times. Sounds like it’s a result of their high pressure forecheck.

PoMo will be having words about tomorrow guaranteed.

All in net difference tonite. Bob was just amazing. 97 and friends had alot of chance. Let see Florida adapt or Bob playing like tonite... cause Florida was not the best team tonite.

they do get caught at times due to how aggressive they like to play forechecking wise.

Rangers caught them a few times to start the series too.

IIRC there was a stat for the regular season and they were up there for breakaways

We give more than any team in the NHL, but generally less than that. Although, the Oilers are good at it so it's bound to look like that all series long.

Looked to me that Oilers' lack of talent was the biggest problem. Easy saves for Bob who has had under 91% in these playoffs so far.
This 91% doesn’t come from Bob playing bad but from Florida rarely allowing more than 20 shots, was a totally different story tonight
