After watching just Girardi on the replays of the Carter chance, I'm convinced that G has a lower body injury of some kind. Look at his stride. That's not the Girardi I know.

Maybe. But his recovery at the tail end was pretty great. Forced Carter's stick off the puck and took away a good shot leaving Hank to deal with an off angle shot instead.

Played it terrible with the angle, but the end was clutch.

Nah dude, watch it again. I thought so too, but the key to stopping the good shot is after Girardi makes the smack. G wacks Carter, Carter still has a good shot as he tries to get it on the forehand but Hank's stick impedes his stick as he tries to make the move.

All Henke.

It would be an injustice to Brad Richards and Dan Girardi if their names aren't put on the cup if the Kings win, they've been just as helpful as any Los Angeles player this series.

They have to step up the forecheck in third albeit I know it's probably not our strength against this kings roster. I love how Richards has neutralized the strong forecheck of the 4th line ughhh

Of course NBC won't show the slow-mo save again . I think i'm right though, Jon, but maybe I made it up. G makes the move, Carter goes to pull it on his forehand anyway but Hank throws the stick out to slow him down.

Yeah, Girardi is playing a helluva game. 1st star for sure.

Yeah, Hank doesn't touch Carter until after Girardi knocked Carter off the puck. Eddie O saw it, too. At was a great play by Girardi. The third angle shows it the best.

On Girardi, anyone have a tally of how many shots caused him to limp off the ice in the early rounds? He also went to the locker room with an injury I think in game 1.

I agree.

This time of year most players have something wrong with them physically.

Sometimes it's not so evident, but it's obvious with Girardi and Richards.

As brutal as Girardi has been, how are people still blaming him for the broken stick play? That is terrible, terrible, typical Rangers luck there...

Man we looked awful after that goal.

Girardi just bad.

Kreider having a dreadful game.

Stepan seems to always make the wrong decision.

Brad beever having himself a fine effort. Not.

Staals seems to be intoxicated

Nick rash did something ok I think.

Mcd John Moore and stralman having strong games.

Hank looks locked in.

The Rangers played worse than they did in the first.

The defense needs to pinch since the offense is so anemic. I suspect that scoring two goals against the Kings isn't a winning strategy on most nights. However,The D is getting caught. Play defensively against a better opponent or try to push the offense and risk the goals against?

The forwards can't enter the zone. There is very little puck possession.

The centers still can't win a face off.

The Kings are certainly playing like the better team. They actually look stronger as this series goes on.
