Maybe. But his recovery at the tail end was pretty great. Forced Carter's stick off the puck and took away a good shot leaving Hank to deal with an off angle shot instead.

Played it terrible with the angle, but the end was clutch.

Brown might have easily intercepted that puck even if Girardi's stick didn't break. Extremely high-risk play with Brown coming in so close.

Something goes wrong and you're ****ed.

Sure it did. Showed it on the replay. Girardi's stick knocked Carter's off the puck when he slashed him.

He ****ed up bad op by getting best but was lucky enough to get his stick on Carter at the end.
