Getting ugly…

Have to wonder what is going through Seca’s head at this point. The team he has assembled should be doing better than this on paper.

We need to put Brown on a milk carton for missing people holy smokes.... the guys done absolutely nothing the past 15 or so games.... He isnt the only one tho.... we have many guys who are complete ghosts who do literally nothing for entire games and even weeks of games.... This is one of the most disappointing seasons in a long time imo.... everyones like ohh be patient they will be good... I have seen no evidence this team will be good next year or the year after. ... im not even going to mention the coaching staff because that horse has been beaten to death many times.

Worst hockey game I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve never been quick on the “fire the coaches” trigger, but good grief - get someone to run the power play.
Likely gonna lose Fischer for a few games for the throat slit move after the last scrum.
This team is a mess.

This team is fundamentally broken on so many levels. The ineptitude of this coaching staff has run it's course. Get them out.

You play your best game in weeks Friday & Letang for ZERO reason changes the lines, puts Kostuch (a winger) at C, Karimov at LW (a right winger) & puts guys together who haven't even practiced together. he benches Johnston @ FLT, sits him Friday, puts him back in for god knows why in the T9 instead of Kostuch, Johnston costs them the first goal & he's benched again LOL. Is this f*cking amateur hour???????

The team cant get ANY cohesion, chemistry going because the coach seemingly wont allow it with never ending & constant line changes. Those PPs in the 3rd were embarrassing. Truly. You'd see better setups in beer league.

I haven't been this annoyed, frustrated, aggravated with this team maybe in my entire time as a fan. Utterly disgusted at what we watched today. As Tex said, Fischer will be gone again for throat slash gesture at Glavin after the hit on Di Iorio.

This team is terrified to take risks. Whens the last time somebody tried to dangle a dman 1on1? They dump it in, lose the race & repeat. No risk taking. No trying to make a move or make someone miss. This roster should be a push the pace, aggressive, skilled team with guys like Kostuch, Karimov, Wainwright, Doucette, Di Iorio, Edwards, Brown, Fischer, Bridgewater & they play like they have 0 speed or skill on the team.

I'm not sure how Legwand & Seca can be watching this & not be disgusted as well. I haven't heard that arena that quiet in years. Pre covid era.

totally unrelated but the Huron Perth Lakers just won the u16 AAA Silvestick in Whitby ... Absolutely love to see a small town team beating all those Toronto teams to win the biggest tournament of the year.

Kostuch and Karimov try to use their skill and then get benched for it lol. Crazy how little ice time both got this weekend especially Karimov after he scored two beautiful goals on Wednesday. I don't know what managment could say to justify keeping Letang. I've seen some bad Sting teams but I can't remember one that was this lifeless

It's not totally unrelated to the board, as they have two Sarnia-born kids, Matthew Henderson and Dante D'Andrea on their d-core. Pretty incredible run to beat three GTHL teams (Vaughan, JRC, and the Toronto Red Wings) in the elimination rounds to win the title

There is zero doubt in my mind that Legwand will be the coach next year ... he's got a kid in his draft year, although I don't think he's very good, as of now. The Caesars program is a juggernaut with guys like Ryan Kessler, Chris Osgood, Jimmy Howard all coaching teams and guys like Draper, Maltby and Rolston running it. I know Legwand has some serious pull in that program. Imagine Legwand and any one of those other guys being behind the bench next year. IMO Letang is coaching like a guy who knows he wont be here next year. I think Letang thought hed be offered a job at a higher level by now and thats just not happening because he's awful. I think that was the plan all along. Legwand take over when his kid comes to the O and Letang moves on. It's just Letang has no where to go now.

Especially now-a-days when kids/coaches are being paid ... you know Huron Perth isnt doing that. Love seeing it for the Alliance too. I remember back in my day playing for the old Lambton Lightning we made it to the semi finals of Silver stick beating some juggernauts along the way... still a good memory of mine so I cant imagine how good it would feel to win it.

Just incredibly disappointing more than anything. If you wanna say we overrated them, or certain guys aren't as good as we thought or hoped then sure I'll listen to that, but not what we've been watching.

Brown is playing worse than he did at any point last yr. Hurt too. Barr hasn't been as good as he was last yr. Kostuch been better lately but before that the same. U can't have that many core pieces regressing & not think there's something amiss.

Karimov single handedly gets them a point Wednesday, nearly tied the game late Friday & I don't think he played 10 minutes today. Di Iorio who's been so good the last month+ played the least he's ever played. Easily. Wtf is that thinking.

Bodin does not work on the PP. EVERYONE sees it. Yet he's being thrown out there repeatedly. There is no rhyme or reason to so many of these decisions or changes. Looks like Letang is just throwing it at a wall and praying for the best. That isn't helping them or getting them out of this.

I don't think he's this bad of a coach, but for whatever reason he's maybe more in his own head than some of the players. This isn't the same coach I supported for 3 years. The constant line shuffling, the utter lack of cohesion in every area, the lack of emotion have not been things we've seen before to this level. There identity is supposed to be speed, aggression, heavy on forecheck... Where is all that??? They couldn't be playing farther from those things.

Idk might need to look back at some home games last yr! Haha. There were some doozies... But u could count for a solid effort they simply didn't have talent especially post TDL.

We saw the first 10-13 games what this team can be. A solid team that makes young mistakes. This last month+ has been an atrocity.

D zone is a disaster. Ozone lacks any creativity or chemistry. PP is shockingly bad. PK has been horrendous. They've completely gone backwards in every area outside goaltending.

They've been without a doubt the worst team in the league the past 15 games. Each win they got was extremely lucky too. Surzycia stole it vs OTT. Ivankovic was awful in Brampton. Those r the 2 wins. If not for that we could be talking about a 13-14-15 game losing streak.....

I think it's an understatement to say Thursday is a must win. But IMO if we want to get back on track we have to go 2-1. Anything less is a disappointment IMO. if somehow we go 0-3 thier can't be anymore excuses someone has to get fired. Honestly I'm at the point of someone needs to get fired now, but if we go 0-3 that just solidifies it for me.

Felt like today was one they needed. Saginaw missing multiple players. Misa ejected early in the 2nd. Come up with 14 shots & maybe 5 scoring chances vs a team that isn't known for stellar team D.. now 0-4 against them. That's the difference from being right there for 5th & almost in 9th.

I have such little confidence in them right now I truly have no idea if they'll even beat the Petes. If they go 0-3 I don't see how something isn't done. That would be rock bottom and out of a playoff spot.

Even an ugly 1-2 is bad.

At a loss with this team. Just so hard to envision a legit turnaround without something being changed (Assistants or all coaches)..

Jamer, that ship has sailed. this team in not capable in the current state. Changes will be coming. Seca and or legwand should step in and finish the season coaching and make a plan for next year. Keeping this coaching staff would be detrimental to any development of the players and who knows, some players could demand a trade or walk
