Martone only has 43 points, good thing we got rid of him.Even when we don't win I at least love getting to watch some great, intense, meaningful hockey. It's easily the thing I miss most when we have these type of years.
Which is all the more frustrating because out of 10 years this is about 7 of them for this franchise every cycle. Crazy seeing the arena packed every night despite the on ice play. They'll be lucky if it still is by the time they're good again.
This is just the beginning, too. Oh what did we all do to deserve picking this organization man

Stats won't do him justice tonight but Chartier has been fantastic. One of his best starts. Only reason this ain't like 8-0. quite literally the only positive in this one.
Agreed he's been great. This team is really really bad. Going to be tough to watch over the last 34. If I set the over/under at 6.5 wins for the second half of the season. Which are you taking?
surprise surprise Buzz getting stomped again .... Just got a chance to watch Canada v Sweden..... I thought I was watching a carbon copy of Sarnia's style of play.... no offensive creativity, speed or talent... all while Canada's best goal scorer, Rehkopf, sits on the bench. Very on brand Letang game.
lol martone 2 more already... guys gonna get 50 and its not even his draft year yet.... possibly #1 overall in 2025.
Not sure how Way is still in the OHL as an overager!! Doesn't really bring anything to the table, just takes minutes away from the young kids. Probably the worst OA in the league!

Probably around the right total lol. Still have 5 games vs SSM. 2 with Miss, 2 with SBY, handful vs KIT, SAG, LDN. 3 vs GUE.

Yah it was rather pitiful. Barkey turned and chopped him then Dickinson came over and broke his stick over his back. Neither called.
Even the LDN guys were saying it's a 2 and that's when u know it's a bad call haha. Whatever tho. Shocked they killed it off. Large part due to Chartier.

I mean we started that one haha. Is funny Boulton saw maybe 10 shifts in the 2 games and most came in the final 5 mins of 2 non competitive games. game in 2 weeks will be even dumber I imagine. Other Boulton cement head will be back & we'll probably dress Schneider.

Haley needs to shut his mouth on the bench. He’s acting like a bigger kid then then teenagers he is coaching. All that BS in the 3rd is on him and his inability to keep his head cool on the bench. Of course the teams going to lose its composure if the coach is going off the walls in a blow out game. Relax man. Piss poor example for the players acting like that.
It's hockey... Chartier bumped the guy and there was a fight.. oh no lets call him out... meanwhile Mailloux was a hero in London last year lol
He's a loose cannon and I honestly have no clue what knowledge he brings to the table other than banging heads... I've been bringing this up for awhile now hes an issue. He also looks like he just woke up form a massive bender all disheveled. He's gotta go.

Well the fight was the most entertaining part of the game tonight. I don't have many good things to say about this team right now. I was in the camp of buying last year being the right idea but now I'm leaning more towards @davewheeler side. Should have kept Martone, MacDonell, and Namestnikov and traded guys like Voit, Burke, and Mast. Could have been competitive for multiple years if we got the right guys back but instead we're going to suck for five years again instead. It's an incredibly bleak outlook for the Sting!

Martone was a mistake, but not the others. Had to be done. They hadn't done anything since 2018. Coming off covid. Had built that core group for years.
Were the best team for 3-4 months. Should've won vs LDN but went full Sarnia as per usual.
Look what 1 run did. Best attendance they've had in 20 years since last January. Conference is stacked this yr. We still would've been bad now if they sold and 0 guarantee they guys they could've got would've formed a core as good as Burke, Voit, Mast, Dillingham, Ritchie, Gaudreau, Vilmanis, Lantz.
