Young running PP1 & Barr at the top on PP2? Fricken yes. Been giving Letang crap for his lineups but this one is perfect. Really playing the rookies as he should.

Best PD in awhile. Only 3 shots against.

Slow opening 10 but good final 10 to that period. Really liking Hall tonight. Chartier would like that one back (cheated on a pass) but he's been good.

Gotta close this one

Vilmanis!! Finally got a W. Well earned win at that. Solid effort for 90% of the game..team D been much better the last 2 games which is good.

As I said after one, loved Barr on PP2 & he played quite a bit 5on5. Really composed for a 16 yr old. Twins were buzzing all game. Vilmanis been really good lately as well.

Chartier has had this bad trend lately. Plays great for 40 minutes then has a rotten 3rd period. Did that again tonight. Has to stay focused for the entire game. If he can been liking what I see. Loving how he's playing the puck. I think that's helped us spend less time in our end.

Needed it cause KIT&LDN up next isn't very fun. But confidence can be a funny thing & hopefully they have a bit of it now.

That was also Schwindt' best game by a mile. Assist on tying goal, 5 shots. He definitely battles & puts in a good effort.

Another great crowd at 3,900. Thru 14 home games the worst crowd has been 3,404. 11 of them have been over 3,500. I wasn't around the early years of the franchise, but seeing it packed on a nightly basis has been pretty wild. Especially with it being a down year.

It's awesome but also a bit depressing because this is what it should've & could've been the last decade if this franchise knew how to build a winner. Very clear this city is dying for one as shown last yr & into this yr. Just worry it'll fade away with next yr also likely being a struggle. Give massive credit to the team tho, they've marketed the team so (so) much better the last few years & really do a good job getting younger fans to come. Should be a packed house Sunday. Decent chance this is the last game for this group (Imports + Letang might be leaving before Tues) hope they bring one of their best efforts.

Just noticed Hoover is no longer listed on the roster. I was told at the game that apparently the sting couldn't find a doctor that would clear him to play. Sounds like his playing days are done.

Really sad to hear if true. Poor kid gets traded to his hometown team & could not catch a break. Looked like such a solid Dman that we would've really enjoyed watching for a couple seasons. Such a heart & soul type player.

Heard it might be a back issue for Brown. Hopefully nothing major never want the back being an issue..such a shame he's been limited to 13 games with U17s & injuries. Is such a promising player for us.

Sting prospect Micheal Denney with a goal and 2 Assists tonight. Cassey Bridgewater also picked up a goal.
I hope after the TDL we see Denney signed. Kid is absolutely lighting it up. From highlights (ik doesn't tell the whole story) he can really skate & has a nice release.

Bridgewater scored an absolute beauty the other night..end to end snipe. 8th in rookie D scoring despite missing 2.5 weeks. Think we'll be seeing him a bit down the stretch. Ton of potential.

Bears are packed, ready for tomorrow! Last time I watched a game in Sarnia, Mike Duco scored a 3OT goal in game 2 round 2 of the 2008 playoffs. Steven Stamkos scored both goals for Sarnia. It's been awhile lol.

Has it been 24 hrs already?
God dammit I was off by 45 minutes lmaoo. Honestly when I began the post I didn't target it going negative 😂. Just can't get it out of my system I guess..

Hope u guys enjoy it! Try not to think about that game..I remember the goal judge behind KITs net fooling everyone multiple times. One of the more heartbreaking losses in Sting history although the series was just a formality u guys were a powerhouse

Who's everyone got for the teddy bear goal (assuming we score 😂)

I'm going with Doucette. Bangs in a rebound.

Id think something's up with Surzycia for them to start Chartier 3 straight times. Especially with this being one of those games u always go with your vet starter.

Huge test for him. KIT can fill the net. Absolutely lethal offense.

I wonder if maybe Surzycia's asked for a trade.

Oh no no no. Chartier might've suffered a skate cut to the neck. Trainer was trying to put a towel to it as he rushed off. Heard him yell/scream in the hallway. Brutal.

Props to the boys for making it a game. Least got the crowd into it. Dillingham like hit there. Hope 11 is alright.

Hall-Way out vs their L1 with 2 mins left down 1? Yah don't agree with that one.

Can't play 1 period vs a team like KIt and expect a win. Tuesday is gonna be an ugly one.

Also, I'm a fan of him & his upside is great, but Fischer's effort today was bad enough to warrant sitting Tuesday in London. His play in the DZone was baffling to watch. So little urgency or extra effort. He owes both goalies dinner.

Love Moses sticking up for Filak (was a clean hit ik). Just sucks after getting within 1 we spend 6 straight minutes PKing.

KIT is great tho. So few mistakes. Great passing. Stingy. Very structured.
