Well no post game presser today. Can't remember the last time they didn't do one. Wonder if the boys got ringed out extra after this one.

I was hoping to hear the announcement "There was no goal on the play. If you threw your bear, please go to the ice and pick it up and wait for the goal". Haha
I can't believe when they actually scored they said "please refrain from throwing bears" like what?????

I 100% expected a loss today & maybe even a bad one, but their effort in the 1st Pd especially was very disappointing. Figured coming off a Win (finally), teddy bear game, packed house they'd come out flying. Looked flat. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Letang was unhappy. They play like that Tuesday & the game will be off my TV by the first tv timeout lol.

Was nice to see the PP go 2/3. Barr looks solid running the 2nd unit..picked up an assist. Finally using Wainwright & A. LeBlanc on it as focal points.

Edit: the ppl who run the post game pressers were unavailable today so they didn't do it.

God dammit I was off by 45 minutes lmaoo. Honestly when I began the post I didn't target it going negative 😂. Just can't get it out of my system I guess..

Hope u guys enjoy it! Try not to think about that game..I remember the goal judge behind KITs net fooling everyone multiple times. One of the more heartbreaking losses in Sting history although the series was just a formality u guys were a powerhouse
15 years later and that goal judge is still trigger happy! We had a blast. Fun crew around us, and the kiddo had fun so that's all that mattered. Fully expected Sarnia to tie the game. 3rd period collapses have been frequent with this Kitchener team. We'll definitely take advantage of these 2pm games when Kitchener isn't playing. Great experience, and not too far for this Rangers fan living in Hunterville.

Be honest I'd be surprised if we get more than 12-14 wins the rest of the way in the remaining 42 games. 2 Solid Fs leaving for a month + Letang. See how long Chartier, Filak are out.

Once the WJCs guys return it'll be the week of the TDL where I hope we are active selling off pieces.

This recent stretch did a number as we are already 6 points out of 8th & 8 behind 7th. We've seen it the last 2 weeks but the next 42 games should be all about the U18s on the team.

2nd half will be pretty huge for Doherty, Lominac, Chartier, Omeri in particular. Feel we know what most of the roster is. They gotta show they can be legit players for us moving forward.

Yeah, I'd be surprised to see anything more then another 10 wins honestly.

There has gotta be teams out there looking to add a nice 1-2 punch at F and D by acquiring the LeBlanc twins. Jacob is leading our team in scoring as a defensemen which is silly/sad all at the same time. Not even going to guess what value they would bring, but I'd assume it would be fairly decent. Would be awesome if Kitchener came calling on Vilmanis. I know they have limited assets, but I think this is Kitchener's best chance to add a player of significance, without paying over the top prices.

It would be concerning if we weren't able to recover any picks we spent last year by the end of the trade deadline this year.

I'd be on board for a full sell. Can never have enough depth when u go for it. LeBlanc's, Filak, Doucette, Vilmanis all will get at the very least interest.

If u feel u lack a bit of speed & scoring in ur B6, Doucette is perfect. If u lack some versatility & grit, Filak is perfect. LeBlanc's have been legitimate game changers. Vilmanis an absolute monster when he's on. Like Filak, Doucette aren't gonna cost a crazy amount but they'd be significant upgrades to LDNs 3rd line or give SSMs B6 experience, grit. SAG needs some grit up front. SBY needs grit. MIS could soft buy and a 2 yr guy w/experience would be great for them.

Doubtful we deal all of them as u want some OAs back, but not like we'll be all that great next yr and maybe we trade then as OAs which will fetch less.

Also, No Filak or Chartier tonight. Logan Phillips (Legionnaires G) is the backup. If your wondering why not a team prospect like Maillet who's been good, he is also hurt.

LDN putting out there A sqaud tonight this one may get really ugly. But I'm hoping LDN comes in a little cocky.

Not a bad period. Had our chances. Surzycia really good. Hopefully Wainwright is okay. The Bud is a house of horrors for him this year.

What is up with all the injuries this year? Seems like someone new is going down every game. Really liked the look of PP2 that period. Barr was moving the puck well up top and getting his shot through. Seems like that unit is starting to click

Love Barr on the PP. He's a natural on it. Also good on Lominac. Not saying the hit on Doucette was intentional but it banged him up.

Challenges 6'3, 216 pound Haltunnen and lands a couple good ones. I've liked his intensity. Hasn't gotten points like he would've hoped but he's trying to help in either ways which I appreciate

They're battling..can't ask for much more. surzycia been awesome. His best start in a bit. See if they can steal this one in the 3rd.

If the OHL or hockey in general ever gets to a point where every game is officiated like that one I think I'd be done watching it.

I mean Jesus Christ. SIXTEEN penalties. Half of them on the soft end.

Other than that pretty much what I expected. Held in there for a bit then couldn't hold up especially vs their T6. Surzycia was terrific.

No clue what to expect from Barrie tomorrow..seem super up&down.

Man, how bad was that? I don't think the one ref was hugged as a child...talk about having a stick up your ass. Brutal both ways. Comical calls, non-calls, wrong players sent to box....just really bad and embarrassing for the league. Did not benefit either team, rather made for a sloppy game with hardly any flow to it.

We played half way to decent 5v5. Liked our 1st period. Was good to see them battle when down, but when there's 7 million penalties in a game, I'm sure it becomes deflating for the boys. That being said, we had more then enough opportunities to do something on the PP and just couldn't get it done. Obviously a major issue for this team. Liked Barr out there, at least he understands that good things happen when you shoot the puck. Coaching staff trying to run the same PP as last year with 20% of the talent compared to last years stacked unit. Not possible coach...move on. Surzycia was good. Kept us in it. Good to see a strong game from him, been a little sluggish lately.

Complete line shake ups tonight. Still no Filak,Brown on Kukumberg. Starting to think we might not see Kukumberg till after the WJC.
Starting to think we might never see Kukumberg again! Haha. So unfortunate he got hurt. Thought he was getting better every week. Came back 1 period for a nice assist and right back out.

We've missed his strength on puck & solid 2way play.

In a season that'll lack highlights that was awesome. Logan fricken Phillips! What a save to win the game & what a comeback W..

J. LeBlanc has to be gaining serious interest around the league. He's unbelievable. 2G/2A, now has 30 points in 27 games. 5th in D scoring & Leads us in scoring.

Another brilliant game from Barr! 2 assists & ever since he's been put on the PP it's gone from absolute horror show to legitimately solid as it goes 3/5 tonight. 3rd in D scoring for true rookies. Maybe he's the one to break our 2nd round pick curse.

Finally Lominac gets one. Nice shot at that. Had a couple good looks in the 1st that didn't go & I thought this kid might not score again lmao. Was really fiesty again too. Shoutout Way, too. Never really give him shine but he was good tonight everywhere. Gets 2 points & as always is so reliable defensively and on draws.

Ripped on him Sunday, but Fischer was much better last night & was really solid today. Worst start in Surzycia' career. He was.... Disastrous. Could've had 3or4 of those. Love Phillips coming in & making multple huge saves! He'll remember that for sure. Great ovation at the end too as he skated across for his interview.

Maillet is a little undersized (6'0") but has put up good numbers everywhere he's been. Goalie is a bit of an unknown for this team now & going forward so they need all the options they can have.

See if he gets in any games any time soon. Hopefully we see Beamish, Denney signed soon too.

Liam Beamish with a hat trick tonight.
What a fricken season he is having. I remember us being thrilled Wainwright had 51 points in 51 games & that Dann had 48 points in 52 games.

He's gonna absolutely destroy those numbers. 3rd in GOJHL scoring with 18G/18A in 26GP. Only behind a 20 yr old & 19 yr old.

Even more impressive that he is the only drafted F on his team.

Sign this kid nowwwww!

Seca on Maillet. Said it 100x but they really lean on Palazzese' for goalie stuff. He really likes Maillet & works with him often. Has won a championship twice in recent years as a starting G.

also he's unavailable because he got into a fight! Haha. Sounds like they definitely wanna see him get in some games probably after Christmas.

Also sounds like they wanna give Chartier a fair amount of games to really see what he is. He says now Filak & Chartier aren't gonna be back either this weekend.

so does this mean Kukumberg plays Sun afternoon , Vilmanis also? I thought they would be on their way overseas for their respective selection camps
