Sikic for one of Duncan Schneider, Cameron Bergeron or Vann Williamson? Maybe a mid RD pick too?

Probably be my guess from what ppl are saying.

Well no OAs involved. These trades for Dmen for mid round picks have worked out phenomenally for us with Ritchie & Young. Hopefully Seca & Letang can do it again here with Schneider.

Certainly doesn't have the offense but +1 last yr on a terrible team & is +1 this yr on a team that's struggled. Hopefully means he's pretty solid & reliable defensively. Ease some of the pressure off our rookies.

And if he doesn't pan out it's a 7th 3 drafts from now so doesn't hurt. Worthwhile gamble.

Like what I'm hearing about Schneider. Solid defensive Dman who's physical & can move it fairly well. Some untapped potential it sounds like which we have heard before!

Started the year in their top-4 but after getting guys back & Chromiak addition he was moved down. Spent some time in their top pair last yr & did it well.

Solid size at 6'1". Skates pretty well & is physical. 2005 born so he's 18. Can be around this year, next year & if he becomes a staple potentially as an OA the year after.

For it to only cost a 7th is great. Look forward to seeing him Friday.

Well Sullivan's gone. Going to have to find a replacement soon considering Letang will be leaving in a couple weeks.

Unfortunate to hear with Sullivan. Hopefully everything is alright with him & his family. He seemed so excited to sign on too

For the team just another hurdle to get over. Gotta think there's some urgency with Letang leaving so soon. Can't leave Haley all by himself one would think.

Our assistant coach luck has been pretty crappy lately lol. Mancari had to step down, Staubitz stepped down & now Sullivan.

Obviously a small sample size with Kukumberg only out for six games but the penalty kill got significantly worse with him out.

PK with Kukumberg in the lineup: 89.5%
PK with Kukumberg out of the lineup: 63.6%

Hopefully with him coming back we see an improvement in the PK numbers

Well to say I dislike those would be an understatement lmaoo.

Reunite 11&22... Brown with Way as his C on L3. Why have Wainwright at wing when he's your best C.

Do like Chartier starting. Wasn't sure we'd see it. Gotta have a good start tonight. Can't keep falling behind.

Man oh man has the DZone coverage ever fallen apart as of late. Donavon gets a free lane to walk in and a guy is completely by himself screening Chartier.

About as wide open a period as you'll see. Track meet. Chartier with a couple huge saves to keep them at 2. We gotta tighten up.

Brown is so good. So noticeable every time he's on the ice. Love that he's on PP1. Sick pass by Filak to set up the PPG.

What a selfish, idiotic penalty by LeBlanc. Take the lead and immediately slew foot a guy for literally 0 reason. They tie it up on it and have all momentum. And he's suspended 2 games. Horrific.

Now Filak takes a penalty then a soft call on Schneider to make it a lengthy 5on3. What a kill by 13-15-25 & Chartier.

Chartier having one helluva game so far. Only reason this ain't 5or6 to 3. See if they can win a period & steal the game.

And with that I think the real 2023-2024 Sarnia Sting have arrived the last 3 weeks. D is to young. Make way to many mistakes. Taking WAY to many penalties. Our best Fs would be 2nd or 3rd liners on other teams & can't execute the overly high level plays that we've seen be scored on us lately.

One coach just had to quit & our HC leaves for a month+ in 2-3 weeks. It could get even worse for them.

As for the game. Ugly. Came out awesome. House on fire. Once we tied it at 2 we completely stopped playing. Not sure we had 5 chances the rest of the way. Dumb penalty after dumb penalty. Bad turnover after bad turnover.

Left Chartier completely out to dry. Stats don't do him justice as he's the only reason they had a shot late.

I thought our best pair was Schneider-Omeri. For just being added with no practice thought Schneider was solid. Liked his physicality & active stick.

LeBlanc gonna be suspended 2 games & Kukumberg didn't play in the 2nd or 3rd period. So back to down 3 top 9Fs!!

6of7 lost. Confidence very clearly is low for this team. See what they go vs a OS team trying to find their way Friday
