To much to say today is a must-win? Lose & you fall 2 PTs behind FLT with them having 2 games in hand.

The next 7 games after tonight - SSM, KIT, NB, NB, SBY, SSM, LDN....

Need the vet line to be a lot better than WED. Hopefully the PP can chip in. Been a few games.

If history has told us anything Letang will not change lineup. Even his top line isn't doing anything and might need a shuffle to spark some guys to get them going.. sometimes, infusing a Wainwright type player with sikic or doucette might get them jumping or going etc. Again, Letang is a coach that thinks he knows best and will keep lineup the same and Surzycia WILL start! it's like playoffs for letang and his record is all he cares about.
If barr can go which I doubt, schneider will scratch but I can't see any changes to last games lineup.

And Sim, I honestly like him as a player brings something different than Lomanic. If Sim grows few inches and gets faster As his foot speed is behind lominac he will be good player for us. Sim will grow he is 16 and lominac is 17 if you havent noticed letang favours by age regardless of ability.
few examples come to mind
filak, doucette, and most glaring one is Way. It's fine Sim will be fine if he is getting mentally supported by teammates and getting some dialogue from Letang himself.(the coach support I doubt) lominac is another young player that has grit and hard forcheck gives 4th line more jam I like that call yes penalties are an issue but have to take that with that type of play.
let's hope for a minor shufflebto spark some guys and good effort tonight knowing they have gotten points in mist games of late which tells us they are not playing bad!
need more from our 1st rounders as well kostuch has looked average at best last few games love browns effort just not liking his vision to move puck lately losing it too much for my liking but again they are young and if learn from an engaged coach which is my concern still hope they will be ready to pump next year.
predict a top 6 in conference type season next year and guns out in 2025!!!

trying to find 2 tix for the game tonight or monday and its completely sold out other than General Admission vs Soo.... good problem to have for the team (but not me since i wanna watch :P)

Oh boy brown. 2 brutal TOs lead to goals. Not a period to remember for him. Not good when Bridgewater (a call up 16 yr old) was our best player.

Yeah that was not a great period. Veterans need to pull their weight. They didn't produce anything in the first outside of the Schwindt chance

What a putrid, disappointing effort for 35 minutes. Rookies making bad mistakes. Vets not doing anything (Outside Filak).

Looks like the hope there was just closed.
Time to circle wagons and accept it's over had a glimmer with 14 games left and that's as close as it got for us.
Lines are stale bigtime.

Wow. I know this team ain't good but that one was surprising. Worst they've played since the LDN debacle in early JAN. It looked like a team feeling the moment. Eerily similar to G6 vs LDN.

Couldn't stick handle, kept falling over themselves, not communicating etc. which is even more perplexing cause not like this was a G6 or G7. Yes huge but no way u should be way off your game cause it's a big one.

Got to see why they try to shelter rookies. Brown 2 terrible TOs lead to goals. Kostuch with a few bad ones including the 1 that turned into a penalty & then a PPG..not just them obviously either. They scored but the vet line did not have a good 2 games. Ugly stuff.

Good chance that's a dagger. 2 pts back with them having 2 games in hand. Same with Erie. Upcoming schedule is a murderers row.

I think after this loss there's about a 90% chance we miss the playoffs. And I think if there is still a chance we need to win at least 2 of are next 7 which is very slim.

I'm sorry but 20 year olds are suppose to be the catalysts but our 20 year olds have done nothing. Where has Kai been? What about way? Sikic quiet too.
We dont have those 20 year olds and it shows compared to Flint for example.
Peer, Dann Mancini top end 20 year olds.
It's not on them only I put most on coach for thinking they are able to play 24 mins a game and contribute regularly but in playoff type games the 20 year olds drive the bus for most part.
Want to hear letang call out his players as usual
Teams pp and pk are near dead last that's on his staff. That's what makes or breaks a team and how teams get wins if cant get pp to top 5 then wont be a top 5 team it is rocket science

One bright spot for me in that game was Young IMO, looks fantastic every time I have the pleasure of watching him. Bridgewater played pretty well I thought but makes some baffling decisions with the puck when being pursued in his own zone.

Young was great in both Flint games IMO. Loved Bridgewater tonight. Looked far more aggresive. He's got some moves to beat D wide with his speed. Look forward to seeing him next yr & beyond. Could be a great player. Definitely makes some errors but biggest difference when making the jump is speed/time to make plays right.

Buzz were due for a dud they have been playing really well lately. Flint takes 3/4 pts that's going to make it really hard for Buzz to make the playoffs. I hate seeing them not make playoffs, especially with the big crowds they're getting, but I think it's the best thing for the team in the long run. Get lucky one time and get the 1 or 2 pick.

our 20 year olds simply aren't good. They're not all the sudden going to become dominate players.

10 players on this team were in minor miget last year and our top defenceman is 17 years old and in his first full year, actually they are doing not to bad. They work hard most nites but the opposition most nites is older and stonger. We will see them grow into winners the next 2 years , thats my 2 cents.

I was just disappointed in the effort yesterday. Way to flat for such a big game. As Dave said they were due for a dud but I didn't expect it then.

Brightside is the last 2 weeks and the next 2 weeks will/is great experience for all these U17 guys. Learning what u can't and can do in these type of games.

Most of these kids come from a 38 game season and a less intense environment. This is likely their 1st full 68 game season and to ask them to bring it every night at this time of year is a tough ask.

We arent asking the youngsters to bring it just the 19 and 20 year olds to be impactful and consistant, can't expect 16 /17 years olds to be differences out there all the time but the 20 year olds need to show up since they are getting 25 mins a game. That's all I'm saying.
We are showing our lacking in that aspect compared to other teams as intensity and pressure gets turned up.
