Probably 0 chance they'd have dealt in division. Especially now that its become a rivalry.
But they best be hitting up KGN haha. Though with all the picks FLT just added they'll out bid us.
Van Volsen has to be the young player. No way they got Othmann without giving up their 1st round pick. If they did, that's an absolute steal!
gotta ask yourself why a team like flint who is planning on winning gets rid of a 50 goal scorer and does so within 2/3 days of deciding to do it.

Yah that's definitely fair. It's truly shocking. Arguably the best player in the league on an elite team who's gonna go for it.
He must've been a real problem in the room. Maybe this will be a wake up call for him. Gonna be so interesting to see FLTs following moves.

Grover stops 31/32 in a 2-1 OT win for Strathroy tonight
Martone scores twice but Canada Red fall short 11-3 in the gold medal game. 7G/5A in 7 GP in the tournament. Tied for 3rd in points and goals at the U17s. Hopefully a big confidence booster for him

Heard FLT would only trade him east. Shockingly poor return for someone of his caliber. Must be quite the issue in the room.
Certainly makes FLT far less of a threat. Despite his issues he's the best scorer in the league & is a real physical presence.
But sounds like they'll just flip the picks & add. Be interesting to see who they end up with. As I said before gotta imagine guys we r looking at (Arcuri, Harrison, Pastujov) they will be all over now. Unfortunately if Flint wants them more they can get them. Have five 2nds, six 3rds, five 4ths to work with.
Not surprising to hear that they'll still be adding. They're still a good team without Othmann. Wonder if they'll be in on the Wright sweepstakes if he comes back
We could really use an Anson Thornton right about now…..I’m a big fan of lots of draft picks and MacDonnell and Porter Martone and Ty Voit. SOMEthing could have been worked out. Oh well. Sorry.

Speaking of Thornton after a great start to his season things seem to have gone off the rails a bit. Has a 0.882 Sv% & in his last 6 start he's allowed 5, 5, 5, 6, 5 & tonight allowed 3 on 5 before being pulled.
Obviously not all on him as Barrie in general has been a disappointment but bit surprising to see. Even in London, Brochu has a 0.878 sv%. Almost all the goalies ppl had pegged as the top 3-5 have struggled for whatever reason.
Hopefully for our sake Gaudreau finds his game quickly. Preferably vs Guelph in a game we simply need to win.

Been a weird year for goaltending. Definitely didn't see Michael Simpson leading the OHL in GAA and SV% in mid November but hey that's the OHL for you

Amen. What a showing for him at the u-17’s. Out performed Misa and the rest of Canada’s representation at the event. Should be a big boost coming back. If I’m Letang, I slot him into the top 6 immediately to try and keep his confidence up. He is close to breaking through.
Sting sign d-man Mitch Young. He'll play today against Guelph. First time in a bit that we'll have 6D for a game.
