Probably out chanced them 20-6 & lose 4-3. Should've been 5-1 after two & the game should've been over. Needed one save from Surzycia in the 3rd or OT. One.

Shouldn't of traded Dann who can actually beat a goalie clean something this team is putrid at.

Maddening.

This team is so predictable. Why not put the guy who actually plays D and scored 2 goals out for OT? Lmao…what a dumb coaching move. This team man.
Especially when on Sunday in the exact same situation he scored...

Voit's worst 2 games of the yr come with Burke out. Team missed him badly in every situation.

Seca needs to go add 2 SCORING forwards or else we are toast. Simply not enough talent. A lot of grit, character, speed but not enough scoring ability.

Daviault cost us BIG tonight. Didn't tie up Sapovaliv on a 2v2, Sapovaliv scores to tie it at 2. McNamara flat beats him with one move and snipes to make it 3-2 for Saginaw.

Surzycia had to have that 2nd one. He was hunched over so low it gave the guy the entire net. 3rd he definitely got beat.

He definitely needs to be sheltered more but with the injuries being asked to play 20-25 a night.

Vilmanis is becoming an absolute force out there. He should've had 3or4 tonight. He so badly needs to work on his accuracy. Would help if he had some proper linemates too.. put Martone with him when he returns.

Loved L3s game. They had some awesome shifts. Unfortunately, Wainwright & Namestnikov can not finish chances.

Dillingham was solid in his return. Ritchie was a beast. Daviault, MacDonald were good thru 2, but struggled in 3rd. Same can be said for Surzycia who much like his 1st start played solid thru 50 then allowed 3 goals on few shots.

Burke back Sunday thankfully. Letang called it a must-win so hopefully they come in with that mindset.

He needs to shoot like it's the final minute of the game all the time

With London, Erie and Kitchener starting to roll, we could very well be sitting 8th place very quickly. I think it’s time to act.

Luckily outside Windsor no one else seems to have found their groove yet. Even with our injuries, lack of scoring we r still only 2 points back of 2nd (for points)

But if I'm Seca I'm definitely calling up teams. I know teams don't tend to trade upper tier players early but try & get them too. The faster we add them the better.

Still think we are one of the better teams in the conference but it's obvious what we lack. Hopefully Seca can get it done & we get some luck on the injury front.

I'm hoping they add someone before WJr camps when we'll be losing Vilmanis and most likely Voit

Agreed. Be tough sledding for a month if Gaudreau, Voit, Vilmanis are all out. Least they play Erie x2, London x2, Flt x2 (will lose guys too) in that time.

Well we have the 3rd worst record in the western conference over that last 10 games. Both Erie and London 7-3 in their last 10. I understand we had injuries but I think we all know the real issue is goal scoring. A contending team beats Saginaw last night, even without Burke, Mast and Romeo. That’s my opinion tho!

I agree. With some more scoring we probably have 3 more wins. They've outplayed a majority of their opponents even in losses, but they are so bad at finishing grade A chances it costs them.

@ MISS, vs FLT, vs SAG. All 3 they had a decided edge in play by a decent amount but couldn't make a 2-1 lead a 4 or 5-1 lead & it cost them as all 3 went on to tie it & win.

It's frustrating to have the record we have because I firmly believe we are better than it indicates, but goal scoring so happens to be the main objective in hockey & we simply didn't draft guys who are good at it.

It hurts a lot too a position that was projected to be elite (goaltending) hasn't been. My buddy texted me last night after the game & said how many times this yr has our goalie been the better of the two in the game & he's right. 16 games in & I'd say it's only happened 2or3 times since opening weekend.

They need to play well enough to make the playoffs - as long as they’re not 7th or 8th seed, they ought to be ok. I’m guessing 3rd thru 6th seeds will be a toss-up as to who wins.
As said earlier, they need goaltending, healthy D and kids who can finish. Right now I’m not so sure about the first or the latter.
Long season, still no need to panic, but improvement needed for sure

If they can stay in shouting distance by Christmas they'll be in a great spot. One you'd hope they are healthier & 2, their schedule is much much easier.

It's why I'm not panicking yet. Said before the yr their first 20 games was gonna be tough. A ton of Flint, OS, WSR with MISS & a surprising solid SAG team twice.

Add in their injuries & it's understandable their recent struggles. But it doesn't change what they lack or what they need if they wanna compete.

The conference is for the taking. Need to add up front, get healthy & for Ben to figure his sh*t out.

I will say though I'm confident he'd be doing better here Dann is having a bad season. Only 4 goals in 17 games. 10 points & is -12.

As of now the return has FAR outweighed the production.
I've been thinking and I wouldn't mind trading Martone at the deadline for a good 18 year old that way maybe it would help us next year

1. Wow.
2. Martone is going to be at a point per game next year. So to make it worth it you are looking for an '04 that is going to be at over a point per game already this year. Short list.
3. Most teams want to contend this year or next, so wouldn't make this trade this year because of timing. Which team has an exceptional 04 that isn't contending this year or next?
4. Wow.

Wow!! Othmann traded to Peterborough. Apparently wasn't a favorite in the room. Shocking.

The things I would've done to add him... haha. Sounds like FLT still gonna go for it but use all the picks to add. Arcuri I bet will be atop their list after moving out such an elite sniper.
