Start Surzycia Friday. Ben needs some days off to regroup. Hasn’t been fair for him but he still hasn’t been great either. I really don’t know what Letang and Seca are going to do here. Things are not sounding any better than what they were on the weekend.

I haven't seen it this bad either. It's one thing to have a bunch of injuries but not all to one position & not to literally 3/4 of your top-4 & your 4 PKers.

I don't quite understand why Surzycia hasn't started any games. In his relief appearances & one start he showed fine. Can't play Ben 60 times. He'll gas out.

I've seen ppl say Dillingham might be back Friday. They thought Mast was gonna go tonight but maybe isn't 100% yet. Hopefully both are good for Friday.

It's just a brutal spot. U go & add D for this reason & they all get hurt at the same time somehow. They probably don't have the assets to get 2Fs & a solid Dman. Gotta just hope they get & stay healthy cause the need for Fs is much bigger when healthy.

Means a goalie trade must be coming so SAR has a starter when Gaudreau is gone at the world juniors and then that goalie becomes the backup in the 2nd half when Gaudreau is back. Could see Ivanov of the Soo being a target

The way they've handled it that would seem like a possibility. If they had confidence in him he'd have another start at the very least.

Could see Ivanov. Be around next yr too as an OA option with Mast/Voit/Gaudreau all going AHL.

Do you think the Gens will look at trading Patrick Leaver at the deadline?
 
The crazy thing about that game is Sting didn't play bad and actually outshot OS 31-28...and lost by 4! Gaudreau is a problem at the moment. I'll wait to bang the 'bench him' drum until we have a full D corp back though.

I didn't think he had much of a chance on the ones tonight. But he has to be better once everyone is back.

They honestly outplayed OS pretty good in that 2nd period. Got within 2 & were buzzing. That 4-1 goal was killer.

Considering the spot they were in they played pretty well vs WSR/FLT/OS. Full D core & I would've liked our chances in all 3.

Love to see it. Been watching the games & he has been awesome. Arguably their best player & he's on a team with some studs (including Misa)

He should come back feeling real good about his game. Hopefully finds the net early & the floodgates open for him. Nice hard working assist & a beauty goal + an empty netter assist.

Othmann suspended 2 games. Gonna assume it's for shooting the puck at the Sting bench Sunday. Nice to see the league didn't take that lightly.

How dumb is our schedule this season. By the Christmas break we will have played Flint 7 times! Leaving only 1 game left vs them on family day.

While we still are yet to play London or Erie & we only play KIT&SSM one time each in the first half. 2nd half schedule we play LDN KIT ER SAG SSM 22 times.

I watched the game and heard/saw it mentioned it looked intentional but didn’t rewatch it. I guess it really did. How completely idiotic. I mean, if that’s what he did and it WAS intentional? Two games isn’t enough. That’s moronic. He’s pulled some stuff but that’s a new bar.

He was a very frustrating individual Sunday. I always watch him when u guys are here (my favorite player not on Sarnia) & he was visibly upset all game.

Just couldn't buy a bounce & made some mistakes with the puck. To me looked very intentional. Glad nobody got hit by it. Fantastic player with a great future, hopefully learns from it.
 
From the looks of it Dillingham practiced today & Mast, Hoover did not.

Ritchie after Sundays game said we should have masty back Wednesday so bit worried whatever he has might be more than a cold or flu.

Fingers crossed it's not something like mono.

I would've done that too but he deserves a start. Give Gaudreau some extra off days.

Hopefully he gives us a solid start. Saginaw has the 3rd best offense in the conference so he'll have to make some big saves.

Not weird at all imo. It’s earned and Gaudreau has yet to do that, so this makes sense after getting the yank on Wednesday. Good opportunity for Surzycia. Let’s just hope we get a good game. No idea what to expect. The captains return is much needed. Should settle things down a bit on the blue line.

I've been saying this for awhile now. He's just not that good tbh... inconsistent. He lets in a ton of non-screen wrist shots that most goalies would handle. Lol hes been like this for 3 years now... not sure why people are still like oh well lets wait and see. How would having everyone back make him now make saves he should already be making but doesn't?? Anyways... Big game tonight lets hope for something good on home ice.
 
Vilmanis is driving me nuts. He cannot finish anything. Insane that we are down somehow.
