Seriously tho, that was some awesome stuff. They played a fantastic game vs an elite opponent. Limited the scoring chances, great on special teams & completely shut it down late. Exactly what Gaudreau needed. Outside some shots he lost after saving he was awesome. Had some big saves when it was 2-1.

Del Mastro is just a wall. Outside of falling down like 5 times lol he was stellar in his own end, and was that Othmann he rag dolled at the end? LOVE it. Kyrou continues to impress. He's being so much more responsible now too. His puck movement is unbelievable.

Ritchie, Dillingham, Mast were really solid too. Hopefully nothing serious for hoover who just cant catch a break. Another strong game for Sikic who's line was dominant tonight. DBB 2 assists. Looked much more comfortable tonight. What a fantastic play by Lantz at the end who back checks so hard. Way another goal, gotta love his production from L4. 5G, 12 points in 29 games 7 is so solid on the PK. Anderson a solid debut too.

Massive win & statement for the boys. Now hopefully they don't get to high on themselves & they do what they should do tomorrow. Win & win big before a heavyweight tilt Sunday in Ottawa.

LETS GO!! What a f*cking win for the boys!! Gaudreau was excellent!!! Finally!!!!! And the PP.... 2for2 its a miracle!! Great effort from top to bottom. They deserved that win & got it vs the hottest team in the league.

Fricken love to see it.
Yep good road win, stuck with the game plan and came from behind and won the game. Gaudreau with a solid win, hopefully he can get another big win this weekend. I would Imagine Way played more than usual because of Peterboroughs size and physicality.

PBO definitely took it to us physically tonight, but I really like how we handled it. Didn't deter us in anyway. Just kept pushing & look where the goals came from. Right in front. Then on the D side even with Hoover out we kept a lot to the outside & anytime somebody touched Gaudreau they got sat down or dragged away.

A+ effort tonight in all facets.

Great win tonight. Loved the ways that we scored. Facing a really good goalie like Simpson goals aren't going to come easy. The Sting fought for every goal. Great screen by Sikic on the Kyrou goal, great fight for positioning by Sikic to tap in a great pass by Vilmanis, and nice battle win out in front by Burke to get the game winner. Awesome to see the power play go 2/2 with both goals coming from the second unit. If our PP gets going, it's going to make us so much better. Also they won't get much love for it but Voit and Pastujov deserve a shoutout for drawing the two penalties. Gaudreau was fighting the puck in the second period but recovered great and made some huge saves for us in the third when we were down 2-1. Hopefully this game gets him on a roll. Can't have a let up tomorrow against Kingston. Perfect trap game, they're coming off an 8-1 loss to Ottawa and will likely come out hungry while the Sting are coming off a big win and have a big game on Sunday against Ottawa. Let's start strong and win our fourth in a row tomorrow!

Pastujov was awesome. Can't believe he went pointless. He & DBB seemed to have some instant chemistry. Sikic, too who continues to play some great hockey.

If this can become a good trio it'll do wonders for our depth. Vilmanis slowly started taking over as it went on & him on L3 will give us great mismatches.

In my opinion there are two crucial factors that will be the most important to this teams success going forward. Both need to improve significantly at this point. Goaltending and the Power Play. Not gong to beat a dead horse about Benny and his struggles, he knows what he needs to do and I still believe he can get the job done. Hope he believes that to. The power play has been getting a bit better as of late but, I can assure you that a 18.2% PP success rate will not get you past the 1st round of the playoffs. No reason this line up can't produce a 28% conversion rate or better. PK is currently mid-pack but should improve and move up with a healthy line up and defined roles.

Benny 26/28
PP 2/2
PK 2/2

Can't say I'd be upset if they go right back to Gaudreau. I expect Surzycia to start, but let's get Ben rolling. *should* be a game where we only allow 1 or 2 if we play how we can.

Went back & watch Hoover's last shift. Took a big hit, but got up right away & got back into our end, defended, passed to Ritchie then went off. Hopefully, that means nothing head related & it's something minor.

Hopefully they don't fall for the trap come out & take care of business for their 4th straight W. Trim Saginaw's lead down to 4 points for 3rd

Honestly, I think it would be the wrong move to go right back to Ben when we play Sunday vs OTT. Surzycia has played better in front of this team more times then Ben if we are being honest. That should not be discredited or over looked. They need to find a good mix of getting Ben his #1 starts while still getting reps in with Surzycia. Besides, extra rest seems to benefit Benny.

Ya Benny should start 70% and Suryzcia should get 30% of the remaining games. Suryzcia will need to play down the stretch to gain more experience and build his game. That will take pressure off gaudreau and give him abit of rest compared to the first two months of the season.
