Just brutal. One of those nights where the bounces are even working against them. Hit more posts then we have the goalie it seems. Gaudreau not good by any means either. Toss Surzycia in for the 3rd and let Ben rest for game 5 tomorrow.

Someone let the Guelph broadcast know that game 5 is tomorrow and not Saturday like they’ve been saying all night so they don’t miss it…

Shot clock here is 14-18 for the Sting. They are definitely in Gaudreau's head... he shoved McGuire while skating to the tunnel.

He has a temper at times. It's showing. As ferda said I'd sit him for the 3rd just as a mini reset. He has not been himself down in GUE.

Hats off to the B6 who absolutely carried the team tonight. Get all 4 goals. Horrific effort from the best players on this team.

Not sure I've seen Voit play a worse game. He was making terrible decisions all night, including before the ENG.

Hopefully, they respond tomorrow with their best & they close the series. If they don't...

Figured we were gonna lose one game in Guelph. Let’s finish this off tomorrow in front of the home crowd.

Need Burke back tomorrow to get the lines back in order. Gaudreau needs to check himself and do a little self reflecting instead of throwing tantrums like a toddler.

Ya he needs to settle down in net, every goalie gets scored on , move on, if you get bumped who cares let the refs and teammates take care of it, let the other team know it doesn’t bother you. He needs to get his head straight. Sting need to start on time and play a full 60 tomorrow. They need to put more pucks on net and get bodies in front and try and get the greasy goals. They have tones of skilled players the skilled goals will come don’t try and force them. They pass way too much looking for the highlight reels. Doesn’t win games especially in playoffs sorry to burst their bubble. Letang needs to do some coaching.

I’ve never been more disappointed in a hockey team in my life. All those assets traded to be the first #1 seed in history to be swept. The embarrassment of the CHL.

The reason I’m saying this is because I am going for the Sting the rest of the way. A fan base that deserves a long playoff run. Can’t stand London or Kitchener. Good luck.

Just a bizarre game tonight honestly. 1st shot goes in (again) & that's never good. Wasn't a bad goal for Ben but wasn't great. Missed high stick led to it which maybe we should've taken as a sign of the night to come lol.

2nd goal a mad scramble whatever. 3rd goal Fischer just whiffs on a pass & it's one Ben should have. 4th horrific line change leads to a tap-in.

Honestly though, outside those 4 goals I don't think GUE had many other legitimate Grade A chances all game. I can't recall more than 1or2 "big" saves we got tonight.

Idk if one time this yr our B6 got 4 goals & they do tonight & the T6 has an incredibly rare goose egg. Add in we hit 4 posts & it's just a weird game.

Hopefully, nobody else is feeling sick/under 100%. Gotta show some desperation from the get-go tomorrow & end it so we get some rest days.

Bad year or so for Wright he dropped in the draft. Seattle had a very weird development plan with him. Gets completely outshined at the world juniors by Bedard. Then gets sent down to junior and is expected to go on a deep run in playoffs with him being a leader of the ship and he gets swept first round. I bet his confidence is shot.

Lost so doubt he cares, but big ups to Doherty! 2 Assists, +3 in his 1st playoff game (he didn't see a shift in G3.)

Normally I'd hate it but I was happy to see that line out there down 1 late. They earned it. Wainwright also had maybe his best game in the O. He was everywhere.

Yep I agree, and possibly getting injured aswell. I could see if a guy and violently ran gaudreau on purpose, but other than that stay away from fighting. Letang needs to take control of these kids. Get them using their heads and playing smart HARD playoff hockey.

Agree about the fighting. Love to see it but Guelph knows we will bite at every opportunity to throw down. We certainly cannot expect perfection but if we played like we did the last two games vs a higher seeded team, we likely don’t win game 3 either. We need to stay disciplined, get the PP working again, start peppering shots on goal and we need Gaudreau to get back to playing like he did the last few months of the season.

If we can end this tonight, the rest between now and the start of round 2 will be a huge benefit, as clearly there’s a sickness going through the room right now. Looking for a response similar to Ottawa’s last night vs Oshawa after losing game 3 to them.

Agree with what u guys have said. It's one thing if it's a super dirty hit, or if it's Anderson, Way, Doucette dropping the gloves.

Burke, Ritchie & Del Mastro have all fought. They are to good & to important to be sitting, especially for 17 minutes.

We dominated the 2nd half of the gane last night like we did Tuesday. Come out with a point to prove & never take your foot off the gas boys.

Probably won’t know until they release the lineup sheet. But I’d imagine he’s still sick so he probably will be out or he might dress and won’t be 100%. I just hope it’s not making its way through the dressing room.

Should be no pressure on them more so an opportunity. I don't know if any Sting team has closed out a series at home. Why not be the 1st?
