LFG!!! Way to battle back after the slow start. Outstanding. Really good final 10 minutes too. Totally shut them down.

Big contributions from everybody. Close this out Thursday boys!

Hated the way the sting started that third period, I know Guelph was really pushing but my god the sting were sitting back watching them and that’s how they got it within 2 , have to keep pushing in those situations. After we made it 7-4 I like how we played. Kept bringing the play to them and kept it in their zone for the most part. Need a full 60 minutes on Thursday need to come out hungry for the puck and for god sakes stay out of the box!

Gotta love getting goals from Vilmanis x2 (I knew he'd be a great playoff player), Young (!), Wainwright & Anderson.

Total team effort. Big ups to 77/3/61/74 who must have all played 25+ mins. 77&61 get 4 pts combined & go +5. Total game changers.

Can't forget Burke dropping the gloves knowing the team needed a boost. From there on our we dominated. Heart & soul player.

Shaky game from Ben right from the start. Should've had 2 of their goals. Nice of the team to have his back & get the W. He'll bounce back in G4. Hopefully, they show some killer instinct & end this in 4 (have we ever swept a team? Lol)

Gotta get that 1 win first. Like last year, we'd be playing with house money.
Ya your team was good on paper from the get go, got even better at the deadline. Are they putting it all together when it matters? Or is windsor playing mediocre with unstable goaltending? I guess Rangers fans will find out in round 2!

Some of us on our board knew u guys could do this haha. We feared yall all year. Poor WSR got the short end of the stick.. how sweet that series would be between u & LDN.
We have to focus on closing this series out! One game at a time, need a full 60 hard effort next game. I think the battle of Michigan will be a long series.

definitely. their game last night was really exciting. G4 is gonna be a big one. Feels like FLT is building. SAG very young. See if they can handle it.

Notes from my birds eye view tonight...

Enjoy this Sting fans!

1st period the entitlement was there and they paid. 2nd period, puck on a string. Your GM did what needed to be done. I'm not going to lie, I was loving the fans chirping Benny.... classic for playoffs.

No harm, no foul... our year is next year.

Despite the kudos, I still f*cking hate your coaches yellow-tie attire. ;)

I think the thing I'm most happy with thru 3 games is that im not sure who id say our best F has been.

i think they've all had moments of brilliance. We have 8 players at point per game so far. Every skater has a point except Doucette (who should was robbed of his goal) & Mast.

You look at the time our depth has scored, too. Dillingham opened scoring G1, Lantz had dagger 3rd goal. Sikic tying goal in G2. Vilmanis huge goal to get us going in G3. Young's 1st to go ahead 3-2. Wainwright gets GWG. Anderson huge goal with GUE pushing to get up 3.

It has not been just our top guys. Our PP has actually struggled to. Almost all offense (15 of 18 goals) has come 5on5.

Well that was a weird one. This teams ability to literally turn on the jets and just start scoring goals at will is very impressive. "Explosive" as someone mentioned above would be the correct term for sure. As StingUpdates said, it isn't just the top 6, it's spread out through all 4 lines and at even strength to boot. Imagine if the PP was clicking right now? I'm not too worried about the PP but it has been on the decline. Feel like they are looking for the perfect play, which I can't blame them at times....they know how to connect on them so why not lol. I look at Guelphs goals in this series and i see a lot of seeing eye shots or shots from far out that find their way through traffic. It's simple but effective and I wish the Sting would push for more dirty goals. PK has been fantastic only allowing Guelph to go 1/18 on their PP through 3 games.

Del Mastro is the best d-man I've ever seen on a Sarnia blueline. Complete machine. There is no better true defensemen in the league imo. Sure you got Clarke and Minty out in the east, but I don't think I'd have anyone other then Del Mastro out there when you need to shut things down. The guy is an animal.

Let's close this out Thursday fellas! Keep it clean and simple and it shouldn't be an issue.

Just looking at Tuesday’s goals, it’s guys just going to the net, getting a good stick on the puck within 5 or 6 feet of the net. All lines doing that. Willing to get into the dirty zone to finish stuff off.
Love this team!!

Keep your head
Move your feet

3 wins - 13 to go.

If Sting fans want a better experience for tuning into the game Thursday, I highly recommend looking up the radio station CJOY online and listening to Larry Mellot's broadcast. Larry is amazing, he paints a beautiful picture of the game with his play by play and is never biased. I know radio may seem like a less exciting way to watch the game, hell, I've even tried synching up Larry's broadcast to the TV. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Windsor's thread is currently giving me flashbacks of all the disappointing years in the playoffs that we went through in the past. It's nice being on the opposite side of that situation for once lol. I almost feel bad for Windsor lmao.

At least they're coming off making it to the finals.... haha. It sucks. Not much worse in sports than watching your team fall apart when it matters most.

Especially when they played as good as they did all yr. Been shocking to watch. Still wouldn't surprise me if they came back.

As I said in the tweet I feel like once a game we score a goal that's just spectacular & leaves you shaking your head at how good they are.

We've had elite teams before, but we've rarely had teams that can move it as well as this one does. The other teams had elite players (Stamkos, Kyrou, Konecny etc) that could do individual plays to leave you stunned.

This group is a unit of special players & they work so incredibly well together. Biggest thing too is none of them are selfish. They've bought in to the team game.

Got some things to clean up, but offensively this team is clicking on all cylinders right now.

Really cool live shot of the goal from the Sting's IG page, too.

Trying to understand Dillingham still showing as indefinate suspension on the OHL site. Brandt Clarke was immediately assessed a one game suspension for a much dirtier play IMHO ( admittedly watched both after the fact on CHL TV )
But man it sure seems like a great deal of inconsistancy happening unless you guys know something I don't.

Just the league being lazy as they always are. Guryev was indefinite after Voit hit. They never even gave a # then eventually he was just off the list lol. Panwar was indefinite up until puck drop of his 2nd missed game when they announced it would be 2 games.
