0 possibility they will buy him out.Kane is just a bad dude. The Sharks are stuck with him. The chances of them buying Kane out is very likely. Of course, he will sign with Tampa for minimum, win multiple cups and, be a regular on Spittin Chicklets.
He just played the best season of his career?hope he can come back strong and put this other nonsense behind him t
He'd fit the Rangers like a glove,
He just played the best season of his career?
Evander Kane had so much goodwill when he did this:
Amazing how quickly that eroded to where he is now.
Who wasn't betting on the Sharks to lose.. he's bankrupt.. maybe he was betting on them to winIf he was actually betting on the Sharks to lose games, then I think they would have a precedent to void his contract
Wow what a terrible deal for Montreal. Two polar opposite people. Montreal fans just clueless. Your team won because it's bigger than the sum of its parts. Built on character, compete, a full buy in by the players to play for one another. Now you go out and get all these players with history of being bad teammates. Then target the worst teammate in hockey by trading one of the best. Unbelievable that someone that follows that team is this unaware.Sure at 50% retained for Byron
The issue with Kane isn't his actual play. He fits the bolded description.Wow what a terrible deal for Montreal. Two polar opposite people. Montreal fans just clueless. According to the league rules on betting, it isn't:There do not need to be criminal charges. Any evidence that Kane bet on any NHL game (doesn't even need to be a Sharks game) will be sufficient for a lifetime ban from the league and termination of his contract. Betting on NHL games is a big no-no for players and coaches.
Just add it to our list of sh*tty thingsReally tough situation for the Sharks. No one will take him, his teammates don't want him, and if you just buy him out that's bad for the cap and you lose one of your top scorers. No matter what they do, they lose.

If the allegations are true, you are right.
If he actually participated in that type of gambling, I don't see a single GM would be willing to have him on their team. It would be a PR nightmare, and a legal liability down the road as well.
Its ok you dont understand how your own team won. It wasnt on talent. But you will find that out this year, its going to be a long one in montreal.sure wtvr. come back to me when the team is ten times better and is a legit cup contender with eichel (bad teammate no?).
He buys in but all his teammates want him gone?... UhhhThe issue with Kane isn't his actual play. He fits the bolded description.
