Bennett gets another - 5 points in 3 games and counting
Amazing what happens when you give a skilled player skilled linemates, proper ice time AND play him at his natural position.
You still laughing? Can’t wait until this all comes crashing down and we can collectively laugh at everyone overreacting to two games...
Still wish the best for Sam, but the takes here make me laugh
Yes. One more game doesn’t change that. Statements such as:You still laughing?
3 great games in a row now for Bennett and he’s being ultilized in an ideal scenario- next to a star winger, and with a star 1C taking all the tough matchups. Him continuing to be successful isn’t out of the realm of possibility.Yes. One more game doesn’t change that.
The Moose is Loose sure loves small sample sizes
I’ve watched Sam Bennett play 401 NHL games in my life...3 shouldn’t nor won’t change my opinion of him3 great games in a row now for Bennett and he’s being ultilized in an ideal scenario- next to a star winger, and with a star 1C taking all the tough matchups. Hubris is the reason for that, not sample size. You don’t want to change to your opinion.I’ve watched Sam Bennett play 401 NHL games in my life...3 shouldn’t nor won’t change my opinion of him
They just took the assist away from Bennett and gave it to Gudas.Add another assist to the pile - 3G 3A 3 games
No, no it is not. Logic and critical thinking rather than emotion and confirmation bias is the main reason. As if you’re arguing I should buy into a 3 game sample size lolHubris is the reason for that, not sample size. You don’t want to change to your opinion.
The funny thing is I think he has a great playoffs and ends up signing like long term for 3 to 3.5 M AAV with Florida and then puts it together.
Do you think your post history is private? You’ve been trashing Bennett up until the moment he was dealt. Now you’ve got a different song to sing. Wonder why that is. Haven’t seen you in this thread before either.3 great games in a row now for Bennett and he’s being ultilized in an ideal scenario- next to a star winger, and with a star 1C taking all the tough matchups. I'm arguing that you're in denial about what this 3 game sample size could mean. Bennett no longer plays for the team you root for so why are you going to waste your effort supporting him, when its so much easier to rationalize to yourself that he sucked for the flames thus it must always be true. No, no it is not. Where was I trashing Bennett? I honestly have never had a strong opinion on him (good or bad), and I'd be pretty surprised if any posts in my history contest that.Do you think your post history is private? Florida fans takes seem to be that Bennett rejuvenated both Huberdeau and Duclair, they were playing with Wennberg before who while isn't terrible, he's bit of a vanilla player.
18-year-old-Play-off-Sam-Bennett might be just what the doctor ordered for the Panthers second line.
