Rumor: Sabres finalizing another trade (not Byram)

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Or Toronto.
Don’t think he’d settle financially. Contract ain’t as valuable up there. Also, think he would probably prefer a team set up to win now. Not that that’s not Toronto’s aim, but it’s a bit more of a risk. Also, not many big American names heading north these days. Don’t see why he’d buck the trend.

Pagnotta was also adamant Chicago was trading the 4th for Knies. He doesn’t have any clue what he’s talking about
Chad DeDominicis, one of the most reputable Sabres sources, posted the exact same thing a couple hours earlier. Just read this thread lol. Chad is as reliable as they come and Pagnotta is basically just repeating his reporting

About a two hour drive from his home town. And they have two American stars are their first line lol.

Well, Tuch wasn't in the Team USA group chat so there's always hope...

Does it matter? And Captain America has signed 3 contracts in Toronto so yes.
Free Agency. Alex Tuch is a Free Agent. You are convincing an unrestricted Free Agent to take money that’s not worth as much in an open market that is starving to overpay him. And not even really a premier contender either. And crappy weather that he’s been dealing with for a few years now. Not buying it

I won't be surprised if it's Toronto.
