Being live, I don't see much reason to have anything negative to say about Pavs.
I thought he was solid. Wasn't tested a ton (in terms of quality opportunities) but he was good when needed. I feel better about Pavs today then yesterday.

Still not sure why we don't see Peluso.
ThorNburn is useless.

Agree. ANd there have been a couple occassions I wished Peluso would have dropped the gloves. He's trying to hard to be a playmaker, still want him to punish some guys.

Pretty sure he's trying to prove to Holden he's not a good ;)

Great first period then 40 minutes of kinda sitting back. But hey, I'll take it.

Nice to see Little score a couple. He's now on pace for 45 goals this season.

My throat is raw.

I agree that Pavs looked a little shakey to start but really came around and played well. Fans were very appreciative - I think he enjoyed that.

That was a really odd game.

Everything we did went in the net in the first and the Preds couldn't buy a goal.

I think Clune should change his name to Clown. Wish the refs would have taken a little more control of the game at 4-0. Trotz just kept sending out his bottom six and they took a lot of cheap shots, Clune especially, and Hornqvist on Pavelec a couple times.

Pavelec played awesome in the 2nd. Our blueliners are as overrated as he is (or is it was?), I'm afraid.

Setoguchi has been a solid player for us since he spent a night in the press box. Hard working guy with some skill.

I know they've had some good games together, but I wonder if Peluso would add a little something to the Scheifele line in place of Halischuk. They have trouble getting the puck off the endboards on the cycle. Halischuk is a steady player though, no major muckups.

There's all kinds of happy songs about drinking beer in your truck, drinking beer in your tractor, drinking beer on your boat... Pretty much pick a motorized vehicle and add beer into the equation and there is a CPU try song about it.

The best one I heard recently had the lyrics something like "I wish you'd love me like my dog does."

I thought it was a parody...but nope... :help:

I am going to curb my next joke about peanut butter or even the word Style based on way offside.

:shakehead

Just don't understand country music I guess...and I own a pickup...and a dog...perhaps even a drinking problem on the weekends...or weekday loses caused by the jets.

We suck on the cycle, though. Comparatively few cycle plays by the Jets result in goals. It might have something to do with not having many positive possession players on the team.

ha that was my point - we are not built to be a LAK or STL style-wise

I just don't think Noel believes the team is talented enough to do anything else

edit: at least against Western teams - was quick to switch it up vs Washington

Well...that was the first Jets home game that I didn't attend this season. Anyone want tickets for next game? :sarcasm:

Strange game. Thought we outplayed the Preds in the first, though not by the significant margin that the score would indicate. The game was never really in doubt after that, but man alive were they doing their best to try and make it interesting, pizzas everywhere in the 2nd and 3rd. Bogosian was an absolute trainwreck, Scheifele was also really soft on the puck at times.

I realize I'm being hard on this team following a 5-0 win, but that's more a reflection of where I think the Jets can be. A little bit of puck luck and some smart coaching goes a long way, and I think it speaks volumes that the Jets can thump a team like Nashville when they're not playing their best game.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you Claude for reuniting LLW! Enstrom-Byfuglien for next game, pretty please?
