Still way too many pizzas later in the game. Pav to bail them out. I thought he was shaky at first with that rebound in the slot but as the game progressed, with a 4 goal lead, pav looked a lot more comfortable with some stellar saves at the end. So glad he rebounded back from his last game. Hope he keeps it up!

Did we win a faceoff in the third period? That was a shutout as in "shutout" ... the goalie did it all. Not thrilled with Buff putting it all at risk in a 5-0 game with a few minutes to go.

Weird game ... the best and the worst of the Jets on display but it adds up to the biggest win since the first season. I wonder what Noel will say -- I'll bet he's not 100% happy with this.

Jets' PK continues to shine. Power play is basically a two-minute rest when you can go get some more chips or feed the cat, with confidence that you won't miss anything.

Pavs earned the goose egg tonight - he played like a legitimate #1, and gave up a lot fewer rebounds and was much better with his positioning.

Props to the entire team - play like a team and look what happens. Olli has been getting better with each game this season - maybe we'll see a return to form from him this year. And Buff did a 180 from the other night. Bogo did not have a very good game though, and I wonder if there's maybe a nagging injury we don't know about.

Pardy, and to a lesser extent, Ellerby played decent games tonight. Pretty much a good effort by the entire team.

But I thought you were not allowed to play with little nagging injuries on Claude Noel's Jets :sarcasm:

Great to see Buff playing a little snarly and great that he got his first goal! WTG Jets!

Was nice to watch a game where the Jets actually had a bit of a cushion, wasn't as nervewracking.

Some bad giveaways in the game still, but the Predators didn't convert on them and Pavelec was able to stop a couple. Bogosian is having a really poor start to the season, wonder if something is up there injury wise?

Did Schief play tonight?

Good team effort, one of Joki's better games, he's been good this season.

Cold, rainy and snowy outside. Friday night before a long weekend. Ordered in my favourite pie. Snapped a few wobbly pops. Watched my NHL team win 5-0. It's a good thing!

Edit: Great to see Pavs smile. Bring on the Sharks!

Good interview by Pavs. I like that he accepts that the fans have a right to be demanding. Awesome.

Pavs played a great game. Giving him that rest did wonders I think.

Things started getting sloppy late in though, and all the turn overs and people falling down, gotta try and sort that out.

This seems to happen every game though; a "team" effort, which leads to our inconsistency.

I judge Pavs goaling by the raised pucks chart, not very many raised pucks sent to him tonight so his stats are inflated, and he looks like a Vezina candidate.

Little's in pretty good company so far (discounting the games played part, of course ;) ):
