Nah, f*** that.

He came inches away from potentially giving Artemi Panarin a subdural bleed. Wilson deserves every little bit of pain that's coming to him.
Again, I really really hope that Tom Wilson is not carried off the ice by his teammates in a bloody pulp +/- a stretcher as that would violate rule 5) offensive content and I have grown more mellow since my rule breaking days

Hugging Tom Wilson for 15 seconds for the small fee of a 3rd rounder in what’s shaping up to be a very good draft.

I do not like Chris Drury and the more moves he makes the less I like him.

they have 2 2nds and 4ths in the same draft

Only this board would get upset by a 4th liner who is going to play 50 games. Oh no. What are we going to do without Greg McKegg in the lineup?

Well we tossed away an asset in the process

And I hate players only in the lineup to fight

Always have always will

On the bright side, we have two second rounders next year. 3 picks in the top 50 or so is pretty good.

I didn't see him ragdolling a superstar in Vegas.

I did see him helped off the ice in a concussed daze though... if you don't think that plays a difference in his mindset, I don't know what to say.

I can't speak for others but I watched go right back after the same players time and time again.

That's the challenge with trying to chase down a Tom Wilson --- he really doesn't give two shits.

Wilson may have been the tipping point, but this team has been baby poop soft for years/decades. I like the move(s).
Yes. It’s not like we were even baseline in terms of toughness. Adding Goodrow and and Blais probably got us to that level and Reaves makes it a plus. Tinordi…I suspect he’s not going to be on the roster most of the time. Like it or not, cheap shot artists are still out there and the league shows ZERO inclination to clean it up. So this is what’s needed. Did Drury go a little far? Sure. But it’s not like he gave up any big value either.

Rangers training camp will just be two weeks of punching Tom Wilson dummies.

Not the point. We’re not at a stage where we should be overpaying for depth and trading away picks.

It’s like people think we’re 1 piece away from a cup when we can barely make a push for the playoffs.

Lord help this place if the very real possibility of Laf and Kakko not fully breaking out next year happens.

No one needs to chase anyone. Play the game. Wilson will not act the bully he's been against the Rangers the past 2 years.

Things change when you're not the baddest kid in the yard.

Who are they signing next, Georges Laraque?

It’s funny watching from the sidelines as the rangers clearly cannot get Tom Wilson out of their heads. I noticed it at the draft and thought “they should get Ross Johnston or Ryan Reeves”. Here we are.

Shame Gauthier doesn’t get a chance though, he’s big and strong with skill and I like his game. I think he will score 20 goals someday if given the opportunity.

Dude is made for Broadway. Like him or not, his theatre will generate revenue. It was inevitable, don't really love or hate it either way. The more big guys protecting the young stars the better though. I'm tired of seeing this team get linked to Wilson, but i'd be lying if I said I didn't always worry about the Caps or Bruins' goons hurting one of our young guys. Don't think having a bunch on our side actually deters that, but it helps and makes them seem less helpless.
To be honest, Im not sure the #1 grossing team in the league is worried about Reaves' ability to sell tickets.

He was brought in to punch faces lmao

I'd prefer if Reaves rag dolled Backstrom than wrestle with Wilson, it's the only way the guy is gonna learn a lesson.

If that happens you stay patient and go at it again next year w those kids

they could of signed Buch 1 year then he’s gone as a ufa . Instead they are forecasting on the dollars to resign guys like Fox, Zib plus Kakko , Kravtsov

I hear you...but I don't lose sleep over traded 3rd round picks. If they love a guy on the board at 75th overall they can trade up for him. Odds are he's not going to ever suit up for us anyway (Ryan Gropp, Sean Day, Jacob Ragnarsson, etc.)
