I see Sather is running the show. Having said that, I don’t mind it.

Also we should have a sarcastic Tom Wilson thread of appreciation for ruining this organization.

It will certainly keep the flies off of your high end talent during the 82 game marathon.
It helps to be healthy when going on that long run. Rangers won’t take $&$& next year.

People complained ad nauseam about how we needed to get tougher. We got tougher. People still complain. Reaves is really the only real heavyweight they have acquired. I like it and he can play a little also.

The irony of this thread is the over reaction to such a small trade by people who are chastising the rangers for overreacting to the Tom Wilson debacle last year.

Such a meh trade. He’s better than Howden. He won’t win us games but he likely won’t cost us games either and for that I am fine with it.

this is a culture move though. The young finesse team is getting a little older, with a new coach they should have more defined roles and may back check, they have the bodies to play the boards better . . . and now don’t mess with us.

Any style still in the works rather than one style imo.

Remember when Gorton traded for Adam McQuaid, and I hated it, and everyone was like "nah, Machinehead dude man, he's playing 8D chess and he's gonna flip McQuaid for draft picks, and then I was right, and it turned out he just liked McQuaid?

And now I'm reading about how Gorton was the not toffnuss GM and how if we had him back we wouldn't be doing toffnuss.

I think the more pressing question is where would his boundary be?
