Yeah I typically don't read a ton into that sort of thing but his body language shifted dramatically when he was addressing that. He was also very brief about it, not like when Levi was unsigned.

Kind of get that feeling also. You'd think a prospect who wanted to be with the club would be eager to sign an ATO with Rochester to get another shot at the playoffs. After losing in the NCAA final, he could still have a shot at a Calder cup.

I was really expecting him to get signed by now, disappointing that he hasn't yet that's for sure.

I said before it didn't add up that Adams said the meeting went well but then there was no signing. The meeting was early enough that if the sticking point was getting in a game, there was time. If Adams refused to give a game and burn a year he had no reason to say the meeting went well.

For sure the kid's agents just gave a non-commital answer like "good talk! We'll discuss it and let you know!"

More riffing on what happened here - someone would say something about his play and then it would devolve into page after page of the same commentary about signing or not, people's questions and takes about the draft rights rules, etc.... and almost no talk about the actual player.

I don't see any reason he has to say anything. He can't become a free agent until August anyway. Everyone here itching to know what's going to happen is our problem, not his.
