Suspended again
This guy seems like an absolute moron with very little emotional restraint.
Those players rarely last long in the NHL

Yeah, at least his last one turned out to be a slew foot. This one is just the league protecting kids I guess but in the NHL it would just lead to a scrum. In the NHL, this is a two minute instigator and a pat on the back from his coach. He's a very frustrating prospect, but this is the kind of play that keeps him in the league.
He never should have been suspended for the hit he had it was clean. Now he gets suspended for wanting to fight a guy. The league sucks now its basically no contact. Atleast he is playing his role.So is this his 3rd suspension in the OHL?
He was suspended in his short stint in the NCAA after being a headcase with constant charging plays with no regard for playing the puck.
Suspended again
Protecting a teammate for a dangerously high hit is a 'moron without emotional restraint'. What a terrible take. Happens all the time in the NHL. Right on brand for you. This guy seems like an absolute moron with very little emotional restraint.

Punching a guy repeatedly on the ground resulting in suspension happens all the time in the NHL? How many suspensions has he had in just the last two years?Protecting a teammate for a dangerously high hit is a 'moron without emotional restraint'. What a terrible take. OHL has a rule against throwing punches once an opponent is down. Boucher obviously was throwing punches when the guy was down. Not sure why they are suspending him after his teammate takes a dirty hit that sets it off. If the guy he tuned doesn't go in with the high hit, there is no fight. Weird.
Tom Wilson showed a lot more offensive potential than Boucher ever hasI think the suspension is a good thing. The reason why Tom Wilson has this out of control reputation is because he crosses the line and gets himself suspended, along with also being a good player that can help the team when he’s on the ice. Players are afraid he’s going to hurt them. That’s what’s starting to happen when Boucher is on the ice. That guy won’t dare try that hit again. It has an effect.
I think a lot of the people that look at Boucher’s counting stats and ask why he was drafted so high fundamentally misunderstand the reason.
Boucher’s game is about being a pain in the ass to play against and also having some offense. If he hits his potential, you get Wilson. If he doesn’t, maybe you instead get Chris Neil.
Is that worth the 10th pick? If he hits his potential, yes. If he doesn’t, probably not. Regardless, Ottawa wanted a very particular player with their pick. There are very few Tyler Boucher’s. They come around like once every five drafts, especially the ones that actually have hockey ability.
You can try to play armchair Director of Amateur Scouting, but time after time we see why the box scores don’t tell the full picture with some players. There would’ve been multiple other teams rushing to pick him soon after Ottawa did, and I think if you polled teams on a re-draft, almost no way actual NHL teams let this guy get out of the first round.
Please elaborate how Tom Wilson has shown more offensive potential?Tom Wilson showed a lot more offensive potential than Boucher ever has
Seriously? If he did nothing, I would have been very disappointed. This guy seems like an absolute moron with very little emotional restraint.

18 years old - 58pts in 48 games / 17pts in 12 playoff games. Please elaborate how Tom Wilson has shown more offensive potential?
The previous suspension in the OHL was a slewfoot which is an automatic suspension, which you would know if you follow the league. If they are a hater maybe realize you're also a homer in this case.I guess you're just new. Show me one time its ended up in disciplin in the NHL.
If you actually followed the OHL you would know that they suspend you for literally anything. The hit he got suspended for was due to the injury not the actual play. I dont know why im responding to you. Look at all your responses in this entire thread. You have an unhealthy hate for the player. If it isnt some wild comment questioning his character you are hating on his game. Its sad.
This guy turns 20 in ~1 month. He is 6'1" 205+ in a junior league.
Not even 1PPG.
I wouldn't be happy with any version of Kassian at 10th overall. If we get an early Edmonton Oiler Kassian out of him on a cheap deal during his prime I’ll be happy.
Sunk cost.I wouldn't be happy with any version of Kassian at 10th overall.
Anytime you say any single bad thing about Ottawa players/posters you automatically just get called a hater by that poster. I usually just ignore that part from him, you always know it’s comingThe previous suspension in the OHL was a slewfoot which is an automatic suspension, which you would know if you follow the league. I don't get the Wilson comparisons that much; Boucher is physical and has good size, but Wilson was even stronger with great size and better production. Boucher is in his 4th year of OHL eligibility putting up a PPG in the OHL, whereas Wilson was playing his first season in the NHL at the same age/stage of development.
