Flyers need to pray one of Hagens/Misa/McQueen/ect fall in their lap come the draft. There is a chance they could walk away from this draft loaded up, possibly the best they ever have. See if they move more assets come TDL/Draft to push those chips in.

Is Misa a projected center though in the NHL?

Ive watched him all 9 games and this game along with the opener were his 2 worst. That being said, he is getting a little overhyped right now but its just the euphoria and quite understandable.

I still see him getting 50-60 pts this year and then start to take off next year with more experience, strength, endurance, and hopefully speed.

His ES play while good, is still limited by his lack of explosiveness so he won't pop out of the screen right now drawing oohs and aahhs. He's doing good work once the offense settles in the zone. Transition offense is lacking due to his skating but more importantly the lack of good passing from the back end.

But the skill level is very much there, he has Hart trophy level skill, but he won't put all that together this year. He has definite 100++ potential in the future if he refines his overall game most importantly his skating.

I'll go as far as saying that his 5 on 5 play is a mix right now. Him only having 1 5 on 5 point has more to do with bad luck, his decision making looks like he's a NHL rookie out there.

With time and space, he's doing great things. Without it, he's got some growing pains.

I think his biggest weakness right now is his decision making under pressure, which is a good thing since it's going to naturally resolve itself.

I think his lack of explosiveness though will keep him from hitting the Kucherov level, he's going to be a stud though.

Overall, I agree. The euphoria is high on him, Philly fans are right to be excited but it's okay for them to realize he's not going to have a perfect first season, it's okay to be super excited because he's showing the player he's going to be, and eventually his 5 on 5 numbers will increase (he's not going to finish the season at the low pace he's on now).
