Sochi is simply not good enough. You could see it perfectly against Dynamo. Dumb mistakes in crucial moments and when the chances were there they couldn’t convert them. There was a moment yesterday when literally everyone on Michkovs line tried to make a pass out of their own zone… like 3 or 4 guys couldn’t get the job done til Michkov came back, got off the opponents pressure with a fancy move, played a nice pass into the neutral zone and two Sochi guys skated into each other as they chased the puck… everything was said in this few seconds. Their goalie’s especially Berdin went hot the first weeks and don’t win them the games now. Michkov was good yesterday though.

I didn’t watch the game (because I was watching Sochi) but he’s clearly оn PP2. How guys like Popov or Bracco can be the best option on PP is beyond me.

It's getting ridiculous honestly. He has to be on PP1 with Graham. Take maybe Kristof and center PP2 around him. Every time he's out on PP with all the best players, results happen

Also take a minute to think about fact that he's still at a point per game after a severe 3 week slump in his play following an illness, and getting f***ed over in terms of PP minutes and personnel

The hype isn't justified, he's just feasting off inferior competition and taking easy PP1 minutes. Watch him come over and wilt just like Shipachyov. Joe Thornton could come off retirement right now and dominate this kid.

He's on PP with Tyanulin, Khusnutdinov and Khafizov, they all are good forwards. The only problem is Galenyuk, who doesn't have proper skills and creativity to play on PP. On the other hand Sochi's defensemen mostly suck, defensively and offensively. Graham just gifted victory to Avangard in OT in the last game...
